I found that first broadcast journalist a little much. I don't think there are too many (reputable) broadcasters that would allow a news anchor to show that much cleavage. Using that particular image detracted from the legitimacy of the information. Just a thought.

It's actually possible to detect a frame at an FPS as high as 60. And, as one might expect, once the frame rate goes too high for a subliminal message to be detected, it no longer affects a human.

What this means is, if you can't consciously notice it, it can't affect you. Meaning, there's no such thing as a truly subliminal message, assuming you remain alert.

As far as I am aware - it is illegal in America and the UK to provide sublimal messages in terms of flashing a single frame or image within a film.
