今になって思うのですが、なんだか時代劇的な要素もありますよね­。宮本武蔵みたいな真剣勝負とか、犠牲心とか、ストーリー全体の­ベース全体に...。子供ながらにキャシャーンだけが人間に戻れ­ないこのシーン、切なく感じた事をよく覚えています。それにして­もすばらしいアニメを見ていたものだと、感心させられます。子供­に対する大人たちの気持ちも感じられます。ありがとうございます­。

um..first of all i want to say midori looks waaay too young to be casshan's mom..second, is this really the final ep? and third, does anybody know where to find the manga or the missing eps? oh, and who was that robot at the end that casshan said looked familiar?

The original Manga was very dark and yes everyone died pretty much, the 90s remake was more accurate to the ending of the manga.

I always thought it was just a '70s cartoon, if you know where I can find the manga please tell.

The 70's Casshern seems to be more lighthearted than Sins, which I find rather grim and dark.

Well, Sins did give me the impression that it epitomizes the grimness and darkness that is associated with the Casshern franchise.

Sins was about a world in ruin, a more surreal darkness. The original was about human corruption and that they may indeed need to be defeated by rampant machines, a more realistic darkness.

Not the ending I was expecting. I thought a majority of the protagonists died, but it was refreshing to know that I was wrong. Great Series!
