@trybal007 I recommend Moalboal, Cebu Island, Philippines if you really want to get off the grid (a great dive site btw). Buy a few acres and run your own fruit plantage; it's cheap getting started. Throw in a few hogs and don't forget the chickens. Neighbours are happy to look after your shit while you're away. It's a totally different community, guarding the values that matter to humans. Barili further north is nice too. Might see you around when I retire one day. Cheers.
