  • I'm not sleepy.

  • at 6:12 those look like hoppers inside hoppers, lol, what's the deal with those, i've never seen them b4

  • I was wondering the same thing, how does hoppers get inside hoppers? o_O

  • An ex-Conrail unit on the 3rd train-airhorn

    is a giveaway

  • Nice shave and a haircut at 7:51

  • i can't wait for MSTS 2 to come out!!!!

  • wow 3rd train 2 dash-8's! Very nice!

  • thanx t sharing this whit railfan

  • Eric, are they doing a railfan day this year? If so when?

  • I don't know where they are held. I'm sure they have them all over the state.

  • COOL VIDEO AND NICE VIDEOS

  • Awesome railfan video.

  • Wish we could have a NS railfan day. ATL.

  • Man, get a tripod and you'll be a real pro at it, good catches though and shoot at fast shutter speed, that will help with the video also, thanks for posting, oh by the way I've got NS one block away and CSX 5 miles away, both are double track mainlines!

  • Yo I got a tripod, but this was way back when. And since some are in zoom, for example, 3x zoom is 3x the shakiness. Which is better, 15 FPS or 30 FPS? I used to do 30 FPS but 15 works out well, and it makes filming easier.

  • 30fps is fine, it might be youtube too, oh and on the tripod, just thought I would suggest it's not criticise, just thought I would try to help man, CHILL! The catches are a good time to watch, I did say thanks, I just wish I could get some of mine on here, ok my bad, I don't know how to do this, I admit! I've only got analog vids, got any ideas, oh btw it's all hi8 and in stereo?

  • I'm not really sure, all I do is take footage, import to computer via cable, drag the clips into a video editor program, and make the video, then post on youtube =D. Oh and about the frames, I think because some were in 3x zoom and I was closeby it made a more of a jolting effect... I hope you can get your videos on that would be great!

  • you guy's are lucky! my favorite railroad's are NS and CP. and I'm stuck with CSX junk...

  • I live on the CP, and I would kill for CSX. BNSF runs a bit of CSX trains, but on occasion I will see a CSX coal on the CP. I love it that CP still has some active GP9Us though!

  • CN has x GT GP9Ms still active see my vids

  • GP9R

  • Lucky you. NS is my favorite RR. I'm stuck with CSX.

  • LOL that sucks dude, CSX never comes throug here, every blue moon a CSX coal will come flying by o the way up to the reading area.

  • We get Canadian Pacific here to lol. Blue moon for CSX power, only ever saw CSX detour trains during their NY derailment that's it.

  • 14G's lead engine, NS 8333, has a Leslie RS3L horn. Too bad it's fouled, only the 31 and 44 bells are sounding...

  • How can you tell which ones are sounding? And most of the exConrail Dash-8-40CW's have fouled horns, or all exConrail units for that matter.

  • Most horns are played on musical notes. RS3Ls play C#, E, and A# notes. I can simply replicate it on a keyboard.

  • black and white is alright to me (;

  • nice video man,ge power as usual lol

  • Yeah no kidding, that day sucked for different leaders, even on the intermodals, some foreign power so it was cool seeing something other than black and white. But not to worry, billions of videos to come with a mixed bag of power leading the trains. :)

  • I agree with you on the GE power!!
