Dame took it, because the jeweler was trying sell something patented by Dame, the jeweler is only allowed to make them not sell them. Dame had a right to be mad, but he should have called the cops (which we all know, Dame wouldn't do).
@raschase No, what u don't realize is Dame is not just talking about trademark infringement over the fact that it's a Rock-A-Fella logo. He's saying that pendant was made for him by Jacob 'The Jeweler', Dame gave it to someone, who ended up losing it. That jeweler bought the pendent, plated it (because it was originally gold) and was trying to sell it. But the guy denied it, that's when Dame said then I'm taking it either way because you can't use the logo.
Russian said " i cant say, i cant say or well have big problems" to his father in russian" towards the end when asked by the father, so it MUST be rockawears
If I was gthe jeweler I woulda pulled out a big as mosberg pump and stuffed it in Dames face and said ni66a put my shit down b4 i bkast you head off and tell the 5-o u was trying to rob me.
This jeweler is like oh shit he caught me. its true people dont buy roc chains they get givin to artist on the label usualy but really dame could give then to whom he pleases.
Damon Dash is technically correct in what he's doing. However I do not like his smug attitude, I'm sure he has engaged in more than enough illegal activity for money himself, he has no right to look down on anyone. Don't hate the player, hate the game, the same game Dame bought if you shovel dirt don't be surprised when some falls back on you.
@ATENakaATON p.s., I think Dame Dash is a jerk, too--but no different than most multi-millionaire business men. Yet, we single him out 'cause he's young and black. Enough is enough.
@kisswriters I singled him out because that's who's in this video. I don't see a video on the rich and famous, if it was then I would see your point about singling him out for a reason other than the fact this video is about Dame Dash. Seeing how race has nothing to do with this you can take your racist thoughts on whenever a black man gets attacked and shove them up your ass, enough is enough . PS he aint "young"
@ATENakaATON See, I didn't say you singled him out. I simply questioned your choice of words in describing someone who is protecting his ™, as "smug". Selling ™'d items under the table is still a federal crime, right? Maybe that’s why the owner didn’t call the police??? ... and again, it's YOUR attitude that comes across as "smug" ... like somehow Dame has no right to confront this lying, pirating piece of trash ... as for the question of race, maybe you're color-blind, (Ms. AKA)
@kisswriters I was finished scolding you by the time I got to the "singled" him out reference. By then, I was speaking more in general terms. And the fact that you react so strongly to my introducing the obvious issue(s) of race (and to a lesser degree, class) into a discussion about a black hip-hop CEO tells me exactly with whom I'm dealing ... lastly, my use of the word "young" was less literal and more of an entendre ... as in the "young" nouveau racists ... a colorblind AKA???
@kisswriters I stated he had the right, but how can a man who supported crime through music and committed crimes himself dare speak down to someone for committing a crime, especially one that does not physically harm anyone? He needs to get off his soapbox. As for singling him out, that's who the fucking video is about moron, your just rationalizing your racist logic.
@ATENakaATON My racist logic (the irony) ... anyways, let's use your logic, shall we, Mr. Philosopher ... "If a man has ever committed ‘a’ or ‘any’ crime, then he has no legal right to recourse when/if a crime is committed against him ... so by that same logic, if the store owner has ever committed a crime, then he has no legal recourse in this matter … did I get it right? Your logical statement applied to the store owner ... make sense? Of course not
@kisswriters if your wondering why your comment ticked me off first you typed "Yet, we single him out...." who the fuck are 'we' you don't know me jackass or what I'm thinking. Second because your obviously a racist yourself to even bring it up when it wasn't brought up before, piss off you fucking troll, if you want to talk about racism go find a video on it. @ATENakaATON "Retarded"? "Dipshit"? Really? I'm sorry. I assumed—and I should know better—that you're black. Please disregard my comments, as they weren't meant for you (just about you).
@kisswriters though your comment hasn't appeared, yes I would say so, they both choose to play the game and those are the rules, if Dame Dash decided to steal it, all is fair, but Dame needs to stop preaching like he's different. Dame is just being a brat.

Correction: 1). Those are not the rules. Trademarked items cannot be sold without proper licensing. Despite that, the owner was selling Dame’s ™ for profit; 2.) It’s not a "game". It’s business. Dame’s not a “conventional” CEO, but we’re still talking real money, markets and infringement. The logo was Dame’s idea. He paid thousands in attorneys’ fees for the ™. Given all those factors, he's “smug” for confronting someone who’s wantonly infringing on his market?
@kisswriters Rules of the street, once your in it, your a criminal, and that's that. Dame did crime before he supported crime through music, own up to the game. I don't care about the rules to the business he set up, it too was built on crime, as in selling crack among other things. He robbed, now he's getting robbed, suck it up.
@ATENakaATON I'm going to say this and wrap it up. I understand where you're coming from, but I simply disagree. "We" (collectively) see Dame and are quick to associate him with words like "criminal", "smug", "brat" ... whereas, we don't describe him with words like "CEO", "entrepreneur", "branding expert", "™ property" ... why is that? He's in a business relationship with the owner who's stealing from him. But he's a "brat" for confronting him about it? No, I disagree, strongly
@kisswriters CEO's are the biggest criminals, what makes you think I feel any different about the captains of industry? Who do you think brings all the drugs into the USA and supports gangs from the word go? The leaders of business are just smarter criminals. He's a brat for crying when he loses, that's the game, sometimes you lose.
@ATENakaATON Dame is a businessman, therefore your above "smarter criminals" reference would unequivocally apply to Dame along with the other captains of industry, I assume. But there again, I take issue with your use of the word "brat". That does not imply "captain of industry" ... Nonetheless, I'm done with this one. I simply have a different POV
@ATENakaATON During a stretch in the early and mid-2000s, he along with Jay-Z captained an entertainment corporation estimated to be worth $300-400 million. Not quite on the level of Bob Johnson's $2 billion valuation of BET but still, nothing to turn your nose up at ... and recognize it or not, pop culture is today one of America's biggest exports. So maybe he wasn't a "captain", but he had a seat at the table.
@kisswriters I don't deny this, I'm simply stating he wasn't a captain of industry, nothing more or less. I'm also stating he's a criminal, a smart criminal to boot, as most big business men are but in this video he's being a brat/hater/hypocrite, as a criminal he shouldn't cry like a bitch when a crime comes back on him, you can't get mad at the game just because your losing, in many ways you could say he's being a poor sport.
@ATENakaATON Why is Dame smug/arrogant for protecting his trademark? Corporate America does this everyday. Example, upload someone's copyrighted material on Youtube without proper permission, and see if you don't receive a nasty message ordering you to remove it, immediately. Yet, when a black man does it, "stay focused", he's smug and arrogant. I call your attitude nouveau racism, mad at the black man for brains and brawn...get ready, there are many more entrepreneurial brothers on the come up
thas right kidz. b4 ciroc u had Armadale vodka by Dame Dash. Pretty smooth taste too. Puffy so unoriginal. Dame wasn't humble and tht lead to his fall.
you know he was lien he didnt try to take it back if it was me that dude would have come from around that counter so fast or maybe with a bat threating to call police they was to calm in there dame did right walk out he didnt even go after him
This dude looks like a clown. His cameraman records him walking out with it....which is a crime. What kind of boss does that? Really not suprised this dude is broke as a joke now if this was his mindset.
I said walking out with the store owners property (Stolen, possibly - courts would decide) is a crime. Which it is. Do you think the police would be like "Oh, right" "You thought the chain was yours - and walked the out jewerly store with it" "That's fine". LOL also said he let his man record him walking out of the store - which he did. What part needs explaining to you?
OJ is in prison for a similiar situation. BTW - don't delete your posts fuckboy.
U still dont get it do u? Roc-a-fella OWNS dat piece idiot & da dude dat worked at da store knows it. Dame told him 2 say WHO or WHERE he got it from & dude didnt have an answer so he took it which he can cuz da store has no right selling it or having it on display. Dame himself told him 2 call da police & if they came all he would do would be 2 pull out all his papers while da other dude would have nothing 2 say or explain how he got em.
@MaadAzzGang 1) No. Roc-a-fella/Dame can't claim ownership without proper documentation to prove it. Which either way - would have to be proven in a court of law - not on Dames hunch it's his. It had also been altered or "plated" which would complicate the matter of who owns it. It doesn't matter if the store owner couldn't answer those questions to DAME - The store owner asked him to leave it. He walked out with it. You can't walk off with other people stuff you think is yours. He ain't a cop.
@MaadAzzGang 2) Dame at first thought the store CREATED the "piece". (So how could he provide documentation to prove he owned the item - He owns the brand. Not the piece, if the store did indeed make it. But he can't confiscate it himself.
3) He wanted to know who gave them permission to make it. Then later he claimed they did not make it but Jacob made it. Then he claims it was stolen from someone he had it made for - and it was sold back to them. Dame didn't have no damn papers for it.
No he wanted to know who GAVE it to them first because Dame knew that they got it from somebody who stole it or someone dropped it and some1 sold it to them. Because it was a REAL chain dont you get it? And they can't sell those unless they have permission from Roc-a-fella. Plus ive seen those chains and yes Jacob did make the Roc chains.
When he asked "who made them" that was AFTER the fact because dude didnt wanna tell who gave it to him so he said that he made it.
@MaadAzzGang What do you mean "Real" chain? Dame offered to give the CHAIN back! All he wanted was the piece attached to the chain.
At the end of the day i am right. You can't see someone wearing something or in possession of something you had stolen and take it upon yourself to take it from them without calling the authorities.
Try it yourself one day, and if the police are called, you will be brought up on charges. Trust me.
COPS can't even confiscate shit without a WARRANT.
@MaadAzzGang Don't accuse me of trolling because you have been wrong in literally every single post you have made. Take the schooling and keep it moving scrap.
@MaadAzzGang Like i said. Go try and confiscate something you think a store owns that is yours. See how well it pans out for ya. Then we'll see whos trolling.
@MrSockoOck he can take it if the cops find out hes lien! what the hell are you talking about a warrant for? its stolen property! if you get robbed for your wallet and you call the cops they catch the guy they not gonna issue no fuckin warrant! they gonna retrive the property and lock ya dumass up so if dame cant prove the chain is his right there on the spot he gotta take it to court but more then likely he has somthin on him tha proves the trademark
@buggeazy102 I read that fam and im not sure what exactly your tryna' say.... Yes, if someone is robbed, and the thief is caught, they will be arrested. But that's not the situation here. Dame was not robbed, and the store owner didn't rob. Dame couldn't prove it was his "on the spot," because notice how that never happened in the vid. I am not sure exactly what you object to, everything i said is true.....You can't confiscate something you think is yours out a store. Duh?
@MrSockoOck it might have been sold but it was his logo his trade mark he had the right to do that like how he was gone sale his logo and dame dont make a profit to thats not how business works
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 You don't get it. He did not "Have the right" to walk out the store. Point Blank Period! That is the argument i am making.
Im not talking about his rights to his brand/logo. Which he has. He can't walk around NYC taking shit out all the jewerly stores that used his logo. LOL If he really left with the chain and was not arrested by the NYPD for theft, it was either 1) The store owner did not call the police 2) He came back with it after the camera switched off.
@MrSockoOck let u make a successful company imma get rich off selling yo shit out a store...it dont matter who store it is if its ur merchandise u get a percentage duhhhh!!!! keep the lack of knowledge tho : )
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 Like i explain to you lot. You would be better off taking heed to what i am saying. You can NEVER personally take something from a store without contacting the authorities. You will end up with charges if you think that because it's justified in your mind it will be justified by law as well. Shit don't work that way in the real world my dude.
You take the issue of copyright infridgment/intellectual property/brand ownership to the proper authorities and courts.
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 dont argue with him...obviously he dont mind if he works hard for sum shyt just for another man to sell it and get richer and not give him a damn penny. i dont know where they do that at...lmao...according to him, u should start a website called youtube and expect Youtube not to do shyt about it...
@youngatwista Actually no. I am saying that if i had the Youtube brand displayed on merchandise in a store i owned - Steve Chen could not walk in, pick up the merchandise and leave. That would be a criminal offense. He would have to sue me - and take it to courts. Then the authorities would come and confiscate the merchandise.
@MaadAzzGang right thats why they refuse to call the cops cause it was sold to them they praised it then brought it so when dame walked out they did shit but look at him no fuse over it had that been you or me they would be screamin callin for the cops grabbin a bat all that shit
You're dumb as fuck did you not understand what they did? It's also a crime to sell chains of a company that he (Dame) co-owned withour their permission especially since someone obviously stole it from a Roc-a-fella artist and sold it to them. That guy didn't even make it like Dame said Jacob made them.
jay-z wouldnt fuck with none of these niggaz except young gunz and he didnt want to get on a verse for their first album dame had to beg the nigga to do it alot of black rappers aint marketable im sorry just my opinion but i am though holla at me
lol at alot of black rappers aint marketable when hip hop is a genre created by blacks and still has AT LEAST 95% black rappers. white rappers can crossover easier cuz theres more white ppl than black ppl in america and so they feel like they can relate easier to a white rapper than a black rapper thats all which is why the labels spend more money on white rappers cuz they get back more.
@MaadAzzGang i totally agree with you on that its a art that was formed by black folks and white ppl make more money of it than niggaz do thats like the quater is worth more than the penny which it is lmao fucked up its the reason i dont have white friends not that im racist but i cant stand em cus everything is controled by white ppl the music business the court system the NBA and the NFL they own niggaz but not me though alot of rappers go indie cus of it
All you people saying Dame is stupid and broke, Imagine Apple selling computers with a Gateway Logo in their store, Dame coulda sued them for Millions of Dollars for copyright and Trademark infringement you dumb asses! Which would you rather have a million dollar lawsuit or give somebody back their $8000 chain??? exactly...and you see they didn't call the police.!
Hey dame, if you say someone sold it to the jeweler ,IT AINT YOURS NO MORE , YOU WALKED OUT AND STOLE THAT PIECE. maybe some one in your camp sold it to put food on the table after you dropped them label since you bragged that giving chains away. Now i see why no one wants to work with you, that some grimey nonsense.
Hey "Dame", if you still have that Rock-A-Fella chain piece you took from that Jeweler, you can sell it to help you pay your back rent......fucking loser...
@cooljay5737 it's funny 2 see how many stupid ass people we have in his world this man is a buisiness man man! he is a independent dude not a corporate puppet like yo boi Jay if the chain was a fake gold plated piece and the dealer really made it then he woulda got sued for a bootleg copy of a design of his that mean it was copy written mane...niggas out sellin bootleg movies and music that is against the law that's why the police wasn't called..
@MrMaufree learn some grammar, you knuckle dragging filthy nigger from the projects. if i woke tomorrow as a black man, i would do the world a favor and commit suicide. you should do the same.......now go pick my cotton before i beat you nigger
@cademcnown25 its funny u say that cus actually,i live in a 350,000,with a white woman who comes to clean it every friday, but imma fire her and hire a sister!!!!!! but i never see guys like u,cus u hide behind shit.......masks,computers,and dont really want trouble!!!!!just tell me wat state u r in and the next time i take a vacation,i will let u know then u can come whoop my ass,and back up ur shit,,mr!!!!!
@cademcnown25 cademcnown? you must be from portland oregon or west linn....nobody is a cade mcnown fan but his family members LOL!!! biggest bum in the NFL of all time.
Do you people know what Copyright Infringement is??????? Those jewelers cant sell that without rocafella consent. Dame did the right thing by taking it. They didn't call the cops because they were in the wrong.
@tattloco jim jones did same thing in a store over dipset hats!! principles! the man cudnt even give dame a straight answer, even if dame is an asshole he was right!

@MaadAzzGang Nothing to explain.
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck
Now dig ur face up bitch boy.
MaadAzzGang 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang 1) No. Roc-a-fella/Dame can't claim ownership without proper documentation to prove it. Which either way - would have to be proven in a court of law - not on Dames hunch it's his. It had also been altered or "plated" which would complicate the matter of who owns it. It doesn't matter if the store owner couldn't answer those questions to DAME - The store owner asked him to leave it. He walked out with it. You can't walk off with other people stuff you think is yours. He ain't a cop.
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang 2) Dame at first thought the store CREATED the "piece". (So how could he provide documentation to prove he owned the item - He owns the brand. Not the piece, if the store did indeed make it. But he can't confiscate it himself.
3) He wanted to know who gave them permission to make it. Then later he claimed they did not make it but Jacob made it. Then he claims it was stolen from someone he had it made for - and it was sold back to them. Dame didn't have no damn papers for it.
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck
MaadAzzGang 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang What do you mean "Real" chain? Dame offered to give the CHAIN back! All he wanted was the piece attached to the chain.
At the end of the day i am right. You can't see someone wearing something or in possession of something you had stolen and take it upon yourself to take it from them without calling the authorities.
Try it yourself one day, and if the police are called, you will be brought up on charges. Trust me.
COPS can't even confiscate shit without a WARRANT.

Wooow there's NO WAY you're this dumb. You GOTTA be trolling.
MaadAzzGang 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang Don't accuse me of trolling because you have been wrong in literally every single post you have made. Take the schooling and keep it moving scrap.
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck
Yep you're def trolling.
MaadAzzGang 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang Like i said. Go try and confiscate something you think a store owns that is yours. See how well it pans out for ya. Then we'll see whos trolling.
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck if you can prove its yours you can take if they keep it or make another one you can sue its cheaper to let dame take it
buggeazy102 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck he can take it if the cops find out hes lien! what the hell are you talking about a warrant for? its stolen property! if you get robbed for your wallet and you call the cops they catch the guy they not gonna issue no fuckin warrant! they gonna retrive the property and lock ya dumass up so if dame cant prove the chain is his right there on the spot he gotta take it to court but more then likely he has somthin on him tha proves the trademark
buggeazy102 2 months ago
@buggeazy102 I read that fam and im not sure what exactly your tryna' say.... Yes, if someone is robbed, and the thief is caught, they will be arrested. But that's not the situation here. Dame was not robbed, and the store owner didn't rob. Dame couldn't prove it was his "on the spot," because notice how that never happened in the vid. I am not sure exactly what you object to, everything i said is true.....You can't confiscate something you think is yours out a store. Duh?
MrSockoOck 2 months ago
@MrSockoOck it might have been sold but it was his logo his trade mark he had the right to do that like how he was gone sale his logo and dame dont make a profit to thats not how business works
DreamArtisticsEnt011 1 month ago
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 You don't get it. He did not "Have the right" to walk out the store. Point Blank Period! That is the argument i am making.
Im not talking about his rights to his brand/logo. Which he has. He can't walk around NYC taking shit out all the jewerly stores that used his logo. LOL If he really left with the chain and was not arrested by the NYPD for theft, it was either 1) The store owner did not call the police 2) He came back with it after the camera switched off.
MrSockoOck 1 month ago
@MrSockoOck let u make a successful company imma get rich off selling yo shit out a store...it dont matter who store it is if its ur merchandise u get a percentage duhhhh!!!! keep the lack of knowledge tho : )
DreamArtisticsEnt011 1 month ago
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 Like i explain to you lot. You would be better off taking heed to what i am saying. You can NEVER personally take something from a store without contacting the authorities. You will end up with charges if you think that because it's justified in your mind it will be justified by law as well. Shit don't work that way in the real world my dude.
You take the issue of copyright infridgment/intellectual property/brand ownership to the proper authorities and courts.
MrSockoOck 1 month ago
@DreamArtisticsEnt011 dont argue with him...obviously he dont mind if he works hard for sum shyt just for another man to sell it and get richer and not give him a damn penny. i dont know where they do that at...lmao...according to him, u should start a website called youtube and expect Youtube not to do shyt about it...
youngatwista 1 month ago
@youngatwista Actually no. I am saying that if i had the Youtube brand displayed on merchandise in a store i owned - Steve Chen could not walk in, pick up the merchandise and leave. That would be a criminal offense. He would have to sue me - and take it to courts. Then the authorities would come and confiscate the merchandise.
MrSockoOck 1 month ago
@MaadAzzGang right thats why they refuse to call the cops cause it was sold to them they praised it then brought it so when dame walked out they did shit but look at him no fuse over it had that been you or me they would be screamin callin for the cops grabbin a bat all that shit
buggeazy102 2 months ago

@MrSockoOck
You're dumb as fuck did you not understand what they did? It's also a crime to sell chains of a company that he (Dame) co-owned withour their permission especially since someone obviously stole it from a Roc-a-fella artist and sold it to them. That guy didn't even make it like Dame said Jacob made them.

TheRODNEYD707 2 months ago
@TheRODNEYD707
lol at alot of black rappers aint marketable when hip hop is a genre created by blacks and still has AT LEAST 95% black rappers. white rappers can crossover easier cuz theres more white ppl than black ppl in america and so they feel like they can relate easier to a white rapper than a black rapper thats all which is why the labels spend more money on white rappers cuz they get back more.
MaadAzzGang 2 months ago
@MaadAzzGang i totally agree with you on that its a art that was formed by black folks and white ppl make more money of it than niggaz do thats like the quater is worth more than the penny which it is lmao fucked up its the reason i dont have white friends not that im racist but i cant stand em cus everything is controled by white ppl the music business the court system the NBA and the NFL they own niggaz but not me though alot of rappers go indie cus of it
