The reason Africa is poor is because capital doesn't flow out of rich countries to poor countries where there is a low marginal product of capital. That is, there is no incentive to invest capital in a country like Ghana where education is poor and the workforce is not up to task. Europe doesn't want foreign unskilled workers for this very reason, and also because they put a huge strain on social systems. As sad as this was, you can't be sucked in by the innocence and naivete of the video.

1. Some of us bury our dead people in marked graves while others cremate their dead people.
2. In America, we do discipline our children. White people are less likely to use a cane, but most black Americans use a wooden paddle or ruler to discipline children. White children talk back to their parents more than black children because they have no fear of being punished.
3. We grow taller because we have better nutrition.

@shortshrcets Exactly. We are not starving. Nutrition is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the materials necessary to support life. In Africa, more than one billion people do not have enough clean water to provide for their basic human needs. As a result, more than 2,500 children are dying each day. We have more than enough to sustain life and many of us over indulge leading to obesity. We have abundance of fruits, vegetables, whole grain snacks, water, and milk. Btw I'm not fat.

@OreoPrincess55 If 1 billion people in Africa didn't have enough water that would mean all of them, as there is about 1 billion people in all of Africa. And I highly doubt that they all are dying of thirst. As a matter of fact many African countries have an abundance of natural resources, including water.

@mckorff I didn't say that they don't have enough water. I said that they don't have enough "clean water." The clean water that they have has to be reserved for drinking and many don't even drink clean water. Clean water is not wasted to bathe in. Bathing in dirty water exposes your body to a numerous number of pathogens especially if you accidentally swallow some of the contaminated water or enter the water with an abrasion on your body where pathogens can enter your bloodstream.

@OreoPrincess55 I wasn't commenting on whether or not the water is clean in Africa, I was commenting on your claim that 1 billion people in Africa doesn't have drinkable water. This is simply not true as the total population of Africa amounts to little more than 1 billion people. If your claim was true then nobody in Africa would have access to clean water.
Now there is no doubt that many places in Africa have problems with their water supplies but blatant exaggeration doesn't help anything

Calling humans white and black is a misconception of color. All humans are different shades of brown from very light to very dark brown. Dark skin has more melanin (a pigment that makes the skin dark) than light skin. However light skin can turn on melanin production and turn dark brown in attempts to protect the skin from sun damage. This is why "white people" have dark spots when they are in the sun. The dark spots are called freckles. Some "white people" tan and do not get freckles.

@ps2peter this is because the English language is the most common language in the world hence why people learn the language. so why should people from england need to learn other languages? im from england and have finished school now and i have learnt two other languages from that school.... not fluent in them but yeah. i dont know about other schools around the country but many from where i live teach the language.Im sure it is compulsory to teach a second language. Maybe im wrong?

@ps2peter most kids only no english because most countries use it as a second language so thats the end of that.I never said i was smart, im now saying im not dumb like you say england is. I got pretty good grades in school and its about 93% of people pass at C or above in my school and i didnt go to a decent school. Oh yeah and if we (and america) are soo dumb how come we have the top universities in the WORLD

@ps2peter well if you think of it this way: Places like england and usa etc have created technology it has become and always will be part of our lives. People created these things from nothing but ideas including the houses we live in. We have become more advanced then them not because we cant survive in the wilderness but because it makes life easier. And how did people go about making these things? by going to school, uni ,college and being inspired by the things they now love

@ps2peter In finland we speak finnish, But at 4rd grade they start teaching us english. Its optional to start learning swedish then. If you dont start swedisht at 4rd grade, It will start at 7th grade. = 3 languages FOR every school kid.

We have a govt, rules and regulation. We need to know who is in the country, for how long, what they're doing here and why and where they're from and who they are so we can properly plan for their stay and allocate adequate resources and keep out trouble makers. That's why you can't just immigrate and work. Perhaps if good governance was practised in Africa you wouldn't have to emigrate.
As for the growing tall- we eat more food than you.
