I love this version and I love Alexz, but I also love how her voice breaks in "alive" in the last chorus of the studio version, and she tends not to do that in live versions. each time she sings that part it's just a little bit different. i love that she can do that: interpret her own song differently each time she sings it.

Talent (live and in studio), brains, looks, sweet, not slutty or selling sex to get ahead in her career (and I'm not just talking about her Instant Star career)... now that's a rarity in todays mainstream artists. I've met Alexz twice and she is one of the sweetest, most down to earth people I have ever met and she's Christian, which is also a plus, for me anyway. lol :)

She said it was better than the original, and I thought she was referring to someone else singing this song originally, but she means the studio version. Oh, and 'original' doesn't necessary mean that artist wrote it, someone else could have written it. It's original as long as the artist sung/released/copyrighted it first before someone else does.
