Mine healed perfectly, its a matter of not touching it and make sure it doesnt get caught on your clothes. i took mine out, for a swimming party, and couldnt get it back in. I got it redone yesterday. Iv had a curved bard both times.

I got my nape piercing yesterday and just wanted to say that I think your nape really suits you very well. I already have 7 piercings and all have healed without any problems. I always exactly stick to what the piercer tells me and my body seems to have no problems with wounds. I just hope that I can keep my nape. So I guess it's luck and taking good care of your piercings. :)

first you get a staple bar and not dermals, second you take care of it, and third you have a body that takes pain/wounds well. thats how you keep it. i have had mine done three times. i have had this one is for a year. WARNING! WOMEN WITH BRACLETS WILL TEAR YOUR NAPE PIERCING OUT!

i got my nape pierced a few weeks back with the like half square shaped bar and its absolutley brilliant it crusts a little in the morning i tend to just wash it in the shower morning and night and it works a treat! not like my hips which rejected really quick!

If i ever got my nape pierced, then im going with microdermals....Microdermals are only 2% rejection and a surface bar is 80% rejection ... But then again we all have a different body structure and some bodies can adjust to different things better then other bodies can...So i guess it all depends on the structure of ones skin = \

I started stretching my ears fourteen years ago, but then quit...it's amazing all the dumb comments i received over the years.....

i had my sideburn (vertical surface tragus) for 5 months. it was healing fine until it got knocked by my friend. since then, it had been steadily rejecting. so i had to take it out :/

But i also have my bellybutton pierced, & it never rejected, even though it kept getting caught on thing & i kept ripping the skin around the piercing.

i guess it's just what your body decides. it'll keep some piercings, reject others

I've had my anti-eyebrow done for four or five months now. I have been so worried about the rejection rate on the piercing. I've researched it a lot and it seems as though stress and weight loss/gain are the biggest factors in rejection. I was stressed out at the time I first got it done. Now that I'm not as stressed out, It's been treating me well.

im hoping i can keep mine for as long! ive had mine since march 31. . . i stopped cleaning it a few weeks ago,and when i was cleaning it - - it was gros and crusty and very red and sore, i thought it was rejecting so i stopped cleaning it (H2Ocean) and ever since its healed perfectly and it doesnt hurt unless my neck is in a wierd position...and its not rejecting anymore!! yay its only been about a month,but like i said i only cleaned it for the first 2 weeks

it hurts when the needle goes through your neck.. of course. but once the bar is in and needle is out it calms down and doesnt hurt unless you mess with it. try not to mess with it!! =D
