  • Mr.D Martino's voice!

  • I'm from Iowa and a friend turned me on to the plow in '93. I am so happy to hear them again. Does anyone know if they are still playing? I would make a trip to LA just for them!!

  • he said devil's Johnson!

  • Great video

  • I saw them open for MLWTTKK & Thrill Kill got blown away. These three FUCKED that place up!

  • omg...takes me back, i had all but forgot about EM. love it again!

  • @TheAngelabrown1

    rock on EM

  • Ethyl Meatplow and Thrill Kill Kult are probably the best in the "sleazy-industrial" vein

  • I used to love this band!!! Oh my gosh!!!!

  • i saw them in concert back in san anto with meat beat manifesto, it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to! ever!

  • Is this song about smoking crack? why cant i find the lyrics online anywhere?

  • @trinimonster yep , sounds like an euphemism to crack smoking to me.As for the no-show of on line lyrics, one has to wonder;the dark haired Latina on the video is supposed to be Hope Sandoval, also singer for Mazzystar, but look her up on Wikipedia, and there's NO mention of her ever being part of the group,so...maybe in hindsight 'they' think it was all 'too alternative'?

  • @egyptianminor Hope Sandoval? You don't see any mention of her anywhere in relation to this group because she had nothing to do with it. The person you are referring to is actually Carla Bozulich - co-founder of the band. She's been in a bunch of bands, most notably The Geraldine Fibbers, and she has done solo work as well. You don't see the lyrics reprinted anywhere because the band was fairly obscure.

  • @Lcacique Ok, my mistake - I misread that info (Sandoval vs.Bozulich) somewhere. As for the lyrics being nowhere " because the band was fairly obscure" sounds like a lame excuse: They had had a clip on MTV which had considerable airplay, and was( and is) kinda like a cult classic of the early '90s, so it seem to me rather inexcusable that not a single person (band, fan, or anyone with good ears) has bothered to post them.

  • @egyptianminor No worries. Define considerable airplay? I watched Mtv religiously during this period, especially 120 minutes. Apart from being on an episode of Beavis and Butt-head, it got very, very little play on Mtv. They had other singles. No lyrics. It's just not that shocking to me. I play music and search for lyrics by alternative bands all the time with no result.

  • @egyptianminor 1st verse: I’m willing to hurt you. I’m wanting to ruin your life. I’m wanting to be there for you. And I’m wanting to suck you dry. 1st chorus: Now she’s smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it, smoke it baby), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it baby), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson and he’s gonna suck you dry. Second verse: Oh my pinche puta chingadera babushka morena...Him, he’s a bastard.

Him, he ain’t your friend oh no. Him, he’s ??(goin to hell)Him, he’ll be your end

  • @egyptianminor Second chorus: Now she’s smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it, smoke it baby), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it girlie), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson and he’s gonna suck you dry.

Alright, look, quit being so god damn stupid aye. Get out from under the bed, take off my god damn nightgown and give me the gun aye. For the last god damn time, you’re safe here, you smell and you look ridiculous. So get it together or get the hell out.

  • @egyptianminor 3rd verse: She was such a pretty one. She was real top-notcher. Always ahead of her time. But then she blew her mind.

Now she’s smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it, smoke it baby), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson (smoke it hard), smokin on the Devil’s Johnson and he’s gonna suck you dry. Oh aaaay ohhooo. I am willing to hurt you. I’m wanting to ruin your life. I’m wanting to be there for you. And I’m wanting to suckdkdkdk you dry...then the final chorus

  • @Lcacique Thanks, at least you deciphered some of it...the chorus and 'blew her mind' part are quite discernible but the rest's a little hard to hear.

  • @egyptianminor I am pretty confident that I deciphered it all.

  • As always, it was the long gone WLIR that played this song.

Do you remember when MTV played videos?

    Thanks for the post.

  • I saw them in concert with Meat Beat Manifesto!!

  • Thanks for the upload. Was one of the first bands I truly got into in my youth.

  • Thank you! this is the first band that I ever saw live (opening for Nitzer Ebb!)

  • At the show I was at the chick in the band was giving this guy from the audience a handjob. I have no idea how nobody got arrested.

  • I just saw this on "Young, Gifted, and Crude". I'll be getting this song now and hate I missed this when it came out.

  • I saw EM in concert. They were in prime form!!

  • Kick ass :)

  • oh my pinche puta chingadera baby babooshka morena!" i saw meatplow in LA several times and i gave Carla a plastic toy ray gun and she shot me from stage. :) one stand out show was when they opened for Front 242 at the Palace. awesome!

  • if it was not for beavis and butthead i never would of heard of these guys awesome song from a great album, happy days sweetheart.

  • They opened for Jim Rose Circus, Chicago Metro early '90's. It was a great double bill.

  • Haha...I bought the CD then saw it on Beavis and Butthead after first hearing it on CMJ...only song I remember...haha!

  • hahahhahaha i saw this on beavis and butthead!

  • It's amazing how many videos got featured on Beavis and Butthead and how many of those videos we all remember so vividly because of it.

NOW GO GET ME SOME NACHOS, BEAVIS! Uh-huh-huh!

  • hell yes! i loved that show. haha but you ever notice how katie perry ripped off that i kissed a girl song? it was an early 90s original featured on beavis and butthead

  • @Solarchos heheh.. so right

  • @bodomfan4lyfe93 lol.. im here coz it too.So hard to find "good " music .

  • Fun, raunchy music & performances! Why is it the best bands all seem to be so short-lived?

  • i miss these fuckin guys. sadly was too young at the time to ever make a show

  • I saw them with Meat Beat Manifest on Beaumont Texas...

  • They are weird

  • This was/is a dynamite song and Carla was sexy as hell

  • We saw them when they opened for Thrill Kill Cult... I was wearing my Einsturzende Neubauten T-shirt and the guy vocalist here put his bald head between my legs - a rubbin up and down... freaky indeed. I'm straight. Oh well.

  • I saw them open for Nitzer Ebb in '92 in L.A. and they blew me away. She was so hot, sleazy, and loaded that I was hypnotized!

  • They opened for Front 242 on their f*uck up evil tour. I remember Carla grabbed grabbed this chick, pulled her on stage and started making out with her.

  • i saw them open for Nitzer Ebb in LA great band

  • I saw Ethyl Meatplow back in Pittsburgh at the Metropol. I cant remember who they'd have been opening up for...Nitzer Ebb? it was in 92 I think. Cool to see this video after 15 years!

  • who has been chosen to sleep in her bed

    who fucks the dead?

    many undertakers are secret necrophiliacs

that is why you ought to go NEPTUNE or

opt for cremation on your own property!

  • Right band, wrong song. You're thinking Queenie. :-)

  • Ahhh...Memories! Love it!

  • I saw them in concert with Meat Beat Manifesto in Beaumont Texas way back in 1993. They were a good band.

  • Beavis and Butt-Head: Scummy people...slimy people...slimy people rock!

  • Cool.

  • Oh, Ethyl Meatplow...

Thank you for reminding me why I can't "smoke the devil's dick." (Translation for 'normies': freebase cocaine or smoke crytal meth...the expression is used for both/each.)

The paranoia outweighs the glamour by a landslide, and this video is a cautionary tale while still remaining sly...

OH, HOW I MISS YOU GUYS.

The fact that a video for "Queenie" doesn't seem to exist is just damn CRIMINAL.

    Regardless,

"Get it together, or get the hell out!"

    ;)

  • The video for Queenie used to be on this site. I'm pretty disappointed that it's gone. It's such an amazing video! I don't understand why it would violate TOS, but a few people had it uploaded and they are all gone now. =(

  • Aaaagh! Thanks for the update... there has to be somewhere else where it's uploaded, now that I know that it exists. Oh and, pleased to meet you, by the way.

    "Fuckingbitchcunt, fuckingbitchcunt, fucking bitch..."

I have a white label with 6 remixes on vinyl that I've *got* to get transferred to mp3s one of these days...

  • I remember seeing them at the Roxy...wait...or was it the Whisky...either way, great show! And Geraldine Fibbers I still can't get out of my mind.

  • I remember this from Beavis and Butthead.

  • I remember this from The Masquerade, in Atlanta, 1993, opening for the Great FRONT 242. Incredible fucking show. Stabbing Westward also played that night but nobody knows why. Ethyl Meatplow ROCKED!

  • they are the coolest people ever...just look at them

    O+

  • I love the lyrics "Get out from under the bed, take off my goddamn nightgown and give me that gun... Get it together or get the hell out"

  • oooh hell yeah!

I LOVE THIS band and this SONG! carla bozulich is the best singer EVER!

  • Saw the open for Niter Ebb on EbbHead. Easily one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen.

  • Dear Beavis and Butthead, thank you for introducing me to Ethyl Meatplow late one night in the early 90s.
