Where theres many people who follow the flock towards religion, there are always others who choose to be free thinking. ummm, not really. Buddhist monks who traveled to china from india found sholin priest who were weak and sickly. The Buddhist priest taught the monks exercises witch eventually turned into shaolin kung fu, monks then traveled to japan and other places with their knowledge and developed karate, judo, jujitsu, and so on and so on. it wasn't a religious thing, more of a get healthy and protect the temple from robbers kinda thing.
