A lot of people dont relise that the galactica and Pegasus were manned by a skeleton crew... Hardly anyone was running the ships.. everyone was on the planet. Thats in case anyone was wondering why both ships werent firing there side guns.. Because no one was on the ship to fire them..

@1ownjoo2 Pegasus is able to automate its cannon fire without the need for continuous human commands. Lee Adama does that when he throws Pegasus into its suicide charge to protect the Galactica.

I agree; this series fucking sucked (as compared to the admitdaly cheesy but atleast it admitied it series). Typical US tv made for the US. Everywhere else people realise that a 22 second introduction with dodgy camera work and insubstantial back story mean it's shit. In the US though shit means good obviouslly according to the above critics.

The truth of it all is that AI doesn't wish harm towards humanity and we will eventually co-opt with AI through transhumanism but that is only a choice for the individual to make. The writing is far superior... this one actually managed to run for more than a single series! And on top of that, the characters are far more complex, deep.. huma (irregardless of them being humanoid Cylon or human)
