has anyone with a dpf delete gone through a dealership yet? meaning had to get a service and went through without any troubles. i want a spartan but am too afriad of the warranty getting taken away. i guess you could switch the stoc exhaust back on but thats alot of trouble.
@rjabin just make a buddy/friend at the dealer and ask them before you take it... if anything switch it up, thats if the tuner caused the problem... if its a radiator leak then its irrelevant some dealers dont mind. again ask

however, to avoid the risk, he had his chip and exhaust replaced to stock before returning to the dealer. it depends how suspicious they are i guess. some places just dont look.
@jmanwild, he needs to get a tranny chip to go with his engine tune or it will keep needing new trannys. also, if he is running larger then stock tires he needs to have his axle ratio changed to match stock or lower drive ratio. most people just tune the engine and lift there truck, i conceder that a half assed truck, do it right or dont do it at all is what i say.

@bigredf150, I didnt know spartin put tranny tuners in the chips. it sounded like it was shifting prematurely and i know alto of people like to tune their trucks ecu and let the trany go to hell. what really bothers me is when people put 10 lift kits on and 40 tires and then leave the 373:1 axle gears in, then they wonder why its still slow with the chip. now Im just ranting....

@landonboots87 I did dpf/cat delete, AFE pro dry stage 2 intake, H&S XRT Pro which was 40 hp 80 and 140 i beleive, and mbrp dpf back duals... i loved it lots of power and 20mpg.. i ran mine on 40hp setting... ran it like that for a month until i got a call the dealership couldnt get a title to the truck!!! but id say that would be one of the safest ways to go for the 6.4

You know what's really funny is that I seen the 1st or so of these engines before they were brought to show / sale. Yeah, I know, but here in INDY we received in ENGINES from INTERNATIONAL TRUCK and ENGINE and I seen that TT and use to ship / receive the 6.0L all day. Just worked in shipping / receiving and now that I see these trucks on here I'm like, "dang, I've seen these motors B4 they are abused". Seen the motors B4 ALL YOU PEOPLE! haha

@thelastcowboy1988 there plug ins your lookin around 1300 for 8 tunes up to 250 hp and then i believe another 100 bucks for the 275 or 310 or both. they also just came out with a 350 tune. but that 350 is gonna have to affect the trans

@thelastcowboy1988 you dont really need to replace the gaskets. you can with upgraded ones. the name slipped my mind but stock for the most part will be okay. you NEED to stud it though. and for most people ARP studs will do the trick. you will also want a egr delete which you can do yourself for cheap just make some blockoff plates. and i would look into other tuning for the 6.0 RCD tunes for the spartan is way good and is a great option. spartan is also great but everyone has there own opinion

The only reason ive considered cummins is because its supposed to get better stock MPGs. But i like the fords too they are bigger cabwise and the engines sound very good but also have their problems, ive also even considered finding a used 6.4 liter ford for cheap if i can find one. @thelastcowboy1988 well. would deffinetly get a powerstroke dont get me wrong cummins is great but im willing to bet you will be much happier with the ford truck. as for wat year and motor. i wouldnt get an 05.06 is ok and 07 is great. if you can get a 6.4 that would be good too. make sure whatever you do you get an oasis report for the truck. that will tell alot about it. make sure you look it over real good. if you need help with that or want more info messege me. comments can only be so long

there is no bleach, the road is dry, he spooled the turbo, and with the tune on, made the tires spin on their own lmao, why does everyone always assume bleach.... you can clearly see the road is dry
