@tomarlyn Well, Lucasarts wasn't used to making games on Sega Consoles This was their first game on the Sega CD hardware. Secondly, this game was rushed AND they didn't have time to refine or use a better video codec/plugin device to make the video more clearer.

I was starting to like this longplay quite a bit, not a terrific game but pretty fun for it's time, for what it was... then I saw things ending with the Hoth mission...... going straight to Yavin!?! I... Uh... W.. What?!

Did our little Rookie 1 just go through a time-warp to participate in the battle against the Death Star? I can't believe the developers made this mistake. Someone must have been exhausted or high when putting together the missions.

I played Rebel Assault 2 all the time when I was a little kid, and I always wondered what the first Rebel Assault was like. Come to find out it was a rehash of the first two movies...

Disappointing, I must say.

Ugh, very horrible graphics for a sega CD game.

They are all messy and it just hurts eyes to watch at them. They were like turned from 16bit to 64colors.

Other than that, this looks like your daily space shooter.

Yeah, theres a PC version of this game which leaves a question. Would you rather buy a lagless full coloured PC version or a laggy and horribly coloured Sega CD version.

In those times, most of people had PC or some another console for the time being and this was just one of the ports that didn't seem to work out so well. Sure the game might be playable... But you need to prepare lots of aspirin for your self just for watching it.

IDK why you got 4 thumbs down. Anyways you make a good point but having a PC that could run this game at the optimal settings wasn't exactly cheap either. With this you just pop it in you Sega and bam your playing a very grainy FMV game.

Yes but how many people you can name that actually had Sega CD? I'm still hoping to get one for in to my collection because it had pretty kick ass games for it. Especially RPG ones.

How ever, people are retarded like that. You can make as many points as you like, if it's popular or someone's favourite, they doesn't even bother with your points nor accept that "Hey! Perhaps there might be something wrong with this game."
