  • Macedonian !?

Witch Macedonia do you mean , north or south ........

  • hi i'm from Romania, i'm playing panpipes but i'm really interested to build a bulgarian kaval but i don't know the measurements. i saw your clips here on YT and you are a pretty good kaval player :) have a good luck :)

  • @h3xyournightmare

    Hi, thanks for the comment.

This kaval you see, someone else made it for me and it sounds pretty well. A wooden kaval is ofcource more beautifull, but than I have often problems with the other instruments (or they have problems with my kaval haha)

Euh....I do not know anuthing about theory and notes, so, for making a kaval yourself I cannot help.

  • I see, you are Romanian. Ig you live south-east and nearby the border to Bulgaria, you can visit the museum-town.....euh , I forgot this moment the name, but is is very close to Gabrovo. There they make kavals and you can ask. Ha...I remember the name : Etera. That is the name of this place.

I wish you goodluck also with the Roumanian music!

    Greetings, Nienke

  • Very nice kaval sound and you play very well,

  • Ek kry dit nie reg om van die kant af 'n geluid te maak nie. Enige voorstelle oor wat ek moontlik verkeerd doen?

  • @BERTZITI, dankjewel.

  • Leuke video ;-) X

  • Hallo Kavalanina. Did you make this kaval yourself.

I like the sound. I am now able to play from time to time in the second register.

I keep on trying. But I think a good teacher would spare me a lot of mistakes and bad habitudes.

I have found some instructions to make a macedonian and bulgarian kaval.

I will make one as soon as I can.

I have made already bansuri flutes out of bamboo in E G and F bass.

These I can play. I also have one bansuri in D from India.

Bye then. and thank you for loading
