  • and you could just roll off the volume at the end of the dive bomb if you cant mute the strings quietly.

  • He discovered America and named it India.

  • @Raittarian he discovered joe satriani and named it kirk hammett, now that's just wrong....

  • just esp m2 ctm std

  • sounds like jurassic parks raptors XD

  • nice ESP UC

  • IT IS CALLED DIVE BOMB

  • you can actually do this with a digitech WHAMMY!

  • so is it a natural or pinch, and what are the frets he does it on?

  • @xImpendingChapelxAAF

    This is a natural harmonic

  • love to do this with the 9th d and g and to swich it up g and b sounds awsome. esp the g and b

  • fucking SWEET sound... seems pretty easy too.

  • wow, seems like very hard to play. LOL

  • doing this with natural harmonics sounds better

  • its the whammy bar

  • LOL

  • I learned how to do this by accident long ago, and before that I heard Kirk Hammett do it at the end of his solo in ... And Justice For All.

  • Proud owner of a Rose Morris Avon SG copy from 1977 which sounds f all like the one you're playing. Except when I drop it.

  • I need to work on my pinch harmonics.

  • Its called a dive bomb.

  • But its a shit dive bomb at that. Natural harmonics sound soooooo much better.

  • @illusionfreak simply a dive bomb but with 2 harmonics, not reason to call it with a new abstruse name.....

  • denmark street london hahah love that name

  • 'DimeBag Darrell is where u learn the PRO harmonic squeels

  • what the fuck hannah montana?WHORE lol....what she is...

  • hey doesnt jeff hannemen outta slayer play that guitar?

  • yea that'd be Jeff's. ESP makes another guitar with the camo finish on it in that exact same shape, only you can tell this one is a Jeff Hanneman because it has a different headstock.

  • jeff's has different inlays in his, i actually own this same guitar still brand new condition only played it like 4 times, awsome guitar though, but jeff's you can tell has the eagle inlays.

  • fuck Hannah Montana she sucks ass!!!

  • amen!

  • ^^^^

    look! he needs attention....

    type a comment for him.

  • hahaha good one!

  • Hannah Montana can kiss my bASS.

  • fuck you, hannah montana and METAL RULES!

  • dude i can play a few solo's and alot of full leghth tracks and i Still cant do it >:(

  • don't u mean, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out philball25?

  • As a guitar teacher, I've kinda realised that everything needs explaining properly to someone. If you can figure it out for yourself then well done. If you can't, then it can get frustrating when all it takes is a simple explanation.

  • it was a pinch you morons not a natural.

  • philball25 you cant do rocket surgery

  • I can do brain science however

  • aren't those just 2 natural harmonics wamied?

  • Yes.

  • ye this is gay coz its like if a great guitarist goes "im gonna show you all how to play like me" **Plays Guitar** "and thats pretty much it.. GL"

btw u wish this means im comparing u to a great guitarist XD

  • He explains it as simply as possible. If you can't do pinched harmonics then you should maybe try something easier. Either that or look for a lesson on pinched harmonics first. It's pretty easy to be honest. 2/5 for difficulty.

  • no its not that... i can do pinched harmonics haha but he dusnt rly tell u how to do anything... he just duz it and thats it..

  • there's not much to say. Play the harmonics then push your trem down - it's not rocket surgery...

  • ...rocket surgery :P

i know it is easy, i get it, i know how to do it.. but im just sayin that if this guy wants to call this a lesson, he should explain little details for the people that might not understand

  • btw this is a reply to philball25

  • pinched...im pretty sure he was playing natural harmonics...but i agree, quite easy, hit the harmonics..drop the floyd..and ur good to go

  • natural harmonics don't give you the in phase/out of phase squeal that pinched harmonics produce. Ultimately it's all about personal preference. I prefer naturals for doing this sort of thing but if you're not careful you can end up sounding like lonely whale...

  • lonely whale...... LOL!!!!

  • good to go...if youv already 'hit the harmonics..dropped the floyd' how is it good to go

  • he's just pinching on the open G...it's a technique a lot of hair metal shred solo's end with.

  • that was kick fuckin ass

  • hey how he do that

  • i have that guitar the jh600 its SIQQQ

  • he is using jeff hanneman custom?

  • It's a urban camo M-II

  • MrkCmbiz you can buy them at sam ash

  • You basically hit harmonics on the G and B string at the 3.8/10.9/15.9 fret and just push the whammy down, or you can just do a double pinch harmonic on the g and b, then pull the whammy down with the fret hand like satriani.......

  • they used that in ...and justice for all right after the solo

  • is that the Jeff Hanneman signature guitar? and isn't the Harmonic Trem Drop also known as the Dive Bomb? i've seen dimebag do without picking the stringing....he just flicks and touches the string with the same finger....i don't know if thats how you put it but what ever.

  • wow, i got a -1 for just something i don't even know much about!!! yea, it would be cool for that guy who clicked that thumbs down icon to actually say something! since he did that, he's a retard!!! dude, at least correct whatever

  • you didnt make it clear, was that open pinch or fretted pinch harmonics? sounds good .

  • Not much of a lesson. I suck at harmonics but gonna give it a go =D

  • yeah that wasnt much of a lesson,I have that guitar and the workmanship is very similar in the ltds but you usually dont get the genuine Floyd and of course real EMGs ive had many cheapie trem systems thru the years and they all go within the year but the floyd keeps on goin!

  • wheres the lesson?

  • I love doin it up on the 9th fret of the 3rd n 4th strings, lovely!

  • can anyone tell me the difference between esp's and ltd's? if you know, can you send a message to me or sumthing, cuz ill never remember to come back here

  • the difference is ESP's are made at the custom shop by "craftsmen" in their japanese headquarters. LTD"s i believe are made in china? on an assembly line.

  • Esp standards are made in japan, still on production line. Esp Custom shop guitars are made separately in Japan, 1 at a time, no 2 are made the same unless someone wants it that way. The LTD's are the lower quality production line version, and are mostly made in Korea

  • so ESP is the same as LTD but lower quality??

    just like fender and squier??

  • I don't think you can compare squier to LTD's....lol

It's more like Fender American vs. Fender Mexican as far as Strats go

  • ahh i see

  • no ESP is the main product. LTD is by ESP, a bit cheaper though.

  • ahh that clears it up, thanks you!

  • where could i by LTD's? is it possible i could by them from my nearest guitarcenter?

  • guitar center dosent carry ESP which really sucks. i got mine at a dealer near my town by checking on esp's website

  • ltd in my opinion are just as good on esp's website and catalog i got some artist of esp use the ltd brand in fact quiet a few of them ltd are awesome to i own one

  • no.....LTD is the lower quality.

  • i know. i already got it, read carefully next time

  • debes de ahogar la cuerda y despues le das al trmolo no?

  • Sounds like something Children Of Bodom does on many of their tracks.

  • cob does alot of divebombs and harmonic-stuff

  • is that esp jeff hanneman a neck thru design? btw IM GETTING THE LTD VERSION WOOH.

  • no its just a UC M-II

  • can you just buy that kind its sick
