Ok, this can be done in Logic too, but am I wrong or Live is 500% faster and more intuitive?
Let me say the same about Arpeggios and Chord. And aren't these essential in making electronic music? Again, 500% faster in Live rather than Logic.
Also slicing up audio is extremely faster in Live...
I am battling the two programs to see which one I like best. Live wins for now for its intuitivity but there are some things that make me keep using Logic for now. I don't know, maybe it's the interface.
i'm with you on screw fl studio as of earlier today lol, it's not that fl is confusing, it's easy as pie, but the sound quality isn't as good as others like ableton, it's too flat/bassy, even when exporting on 320kbps, and no it's not my speakers. but ableton is probably the overall best rounded software, i love it!
I think Live is the new Tracker (i.e OctaMed) for the 21st Century. 1000's of people started making music because Trackers unlocked their creativity. Now Live is going to do the same!
Lot of uses for something like this. It really allows you to make matching riffs to any beat out of any melodic loop. How do people figure this out in the first place?
Thanks!

yeah FL is too confusing when insperation hits - you need spontaneity with music, thats where live 7 comes into play :)

you can make music from any DAW sound good as long as you master it well etc.
IsaacGallant 3 years ago 2
of course you can but why waste the extra effort when it's not needed

hi huston
great video, short, precise. very well done
what would be cool is a the same kind of routine about sidechaining with the compressor and auto filter
hope you find some time for this!
