you know actually doing l4s in a gang is more fun, is safer against gankers, and it is faster. You could end up making less isk per mission, but you will probably end up profiting more.
as you are not tanking and using a small fast ship you could help your corp mates but fitting a web/Target Painter and have an afterburner. for tank use 3 small shield extenders in the riggs.
When I tried to solo level 4s, it took like 1 hour (at least). Friends make it so much faster

Solo can still be quite a challenge with some missions, but doable if you use a BS with good tank.
