I admire thise people working there. How they manage to be so professional and smile, even though they are probably working for one of the worst employers. I had my interview with them a few weeks ago, for the position of cabin crew, and I hope they turn me down, so I don't even have to THINK of going..I'm desperate..If only they were a little nicer to their employees without deteriorating their product..

@hotelhotel111 FYI, my flatmate in doha qatar, a cabin senior has a terrible back problem. She hunches whenever she has a back pain attack which is sooo painful according to her. She's a Tunisian national.. And in conclusion, it's because of flying for so long... I felt so sorry for her and was really concerned about her condition.. i hope she's fine now, she plans to quit flying although it's her first love..

this looks like A social area at the back! where do u ppl think yourself you are? in an Irish bar? why yu only queue for the toilets in the back? there are four in the middle! and queuing means standing in line and waiting! not asking for drinks and filming crew and chatting out loud! QR crew were not assertive enough! if this was in the airline where I work, things would have looked a bit different!
Maybe this made them so special. The filming took 1 minute and there were only 3 people waiting for the toilets! So I would not make such a problem about it. Tell me where You work so I can avoid an other boring airliner next time!
@balamnind You are absolutely right. I would kick them out of the galley. And moreover it's not safe. A galley is not a bar nor a social area for drunk people.
I flew 6 times with Emirates in the past 2 years and indeed they give a good service as well. I flew only once with Ethiad a few years ago. Nothing special but ok.

last time when i was flying with Qatar from MAN-DOH-PEW, the Man-DOH crew were nice. but DOH-PEW crew were a bit harsh, sorry no offence, i am tryin to say, i wanted to take some pictures with crew and i asked them politely, but this crew gave me dirty and refused it :(...but i didn't give up, :) in the end there was this guy from Poland, i took picture with him and he said, dont upload on utube or facebook and i promised him :)...thank u to that crew..:)

4) 3 of us in this video aren't with the Airline anymore. The Algerian girl (really fair carrying the juice tray) left, the South African girl (slightly brown-skinned one standing infront of the galley counter with the napkins) and I (brown boy that comes in the end and is shot from my side profile) have left. The Serbian girl (the girl in the left galley counter in the video), the Filiipino gent and the Sri-Lankan guy are still there. :)
@Everyone:- I'm the last crew that is shot in this video so this is my two cents:-
1.) We're personally not allowed to put up pictures/videos in uniform on the next because QR owns our image till we're under their employment because they might use us in their marketing campaigns.
2) Every company/country has rules. Respect them. If it's not your cup of tea, leave. Can you go up to Bill Gates/Microsoft and ask him to change his policy. No. So why QR

You might be right, but I always aks authorisation before filming or making photos. If they say no I don't even try to do so but here they agreed. I was even allowed to make pics together with them.As I said, a marvelous crew.
I don't work there anymore 'coz I have better priorities. I am not fond of working as a glorified maid.. I am now a businesswoman here in our country. I now have my own payment center, travel agency, remittance and airtime reloading center. It's way better to be treated as the boss! (;
I still have contact with 2 of them, so they are still working there. If an airliner would be so stupid to fire people because of a video or a photo then I only can conclude they are not worthed to have me or others as a client anymore. They should be happy if people post positive feedback!!
I used to work in Qatar airways as a cabin attendant. And what I know is that posting photos and videos in the net in not allowed or else you'll get terminated. I wonder if these cabin crew still work for the airline...

Cabin Crew represent their airline, they are the face of the airline they work for. Airlines should choose more good looking Cabin Crew. However, I agree only partly with shezizuni. I remember Pan Am Cabin Crew very positively. Qantas has a good looking young team, too.
To be honest, it's quite annoying for crew when passengers are standing in the galley and just chilling/chatting. You disturb them by blocking the way. It's already crowded there and your additional presence doesn't facilitate their already hard work.
@shezizuni just be thankful that you are extremely good looking and therefore are in every cover of the most important magazines due to your good looks, ass wipe.
Nope, I am not from Germany. I live in Italy but I took for several reasons the flight from Munich. Yes there were a few Idians onboard. Actually, on that Qatar flight I found a lot of different nationalities.

@SweetHoneyParadise they like to take people who are very submissive so that you dont challenge thier systems, because they will treat you like shit with no freedom! 10pm curfew everyday when you start! cant sleep outside company accomodations....alot of crew are very scared to make mistakes even little mistakes cause once you do ur fired! and its very hard to get out of the company once your in...my friends ran away on layovers in thier country just to leave. Go emirates more freedom.

@hotelhotel111 the specialise in having a vast amount of multi-racial cabin crew that speaks various languages based on their own respective nationalities. what many other airlines are doing now.
@hotelhotel111 Actually more than 50% of the passengers in almost all the flights I have operated as crew were full of Arabs. Some routes more than others.
You forget that it's an Arab airline base out of Qatar...An Arab country with a very large Arab expat population from surrounding Middle Eastern countries.
I only flew 4 times with Qatar and on these 4 flights it were mainly western men (single men) heading to BKK (LOL) Unfortunately I probably will not fly with Qatar anymore since they stepped out of the Miles and More programm of teh Star Aliance. I am forced to look every time for other flights within the Miles and More programm. A pity I have to say!
@yemswe Erm. I'm in that video. I was operating crew on that flight and I speak Arabic. So does the first girl seen with a tray of Juice in her hand. Lina's Algerian/Russian so she speaks Russian, Arabic & French.

I flew QR and Emirates in 2009. Both are great airliners. Onhis flight in particular (where I made the video) the crew was very friendly and they were composed of; a philipino, a south african, a serb, a malasian a swiss and an other 1 which I don't remember the nationality of. I honestly have to admit that this was the most pleasant fligt I had in the past 20 years! It's such a pleasure to have such nice and young people around You.
Yes! i agree with you...i have flown with them myself from PEW -DOH - MAN and they've fab Cabin Crew, i also met with some of their crew members on that flight . From PEW to DOH many of them were from Pakistan, India and Philiphines and from DOH to MAN, there were other crew member from different nationalities :)....Thanx for the info my friend..but my whole point was that QR cabin crew should make some video clips and show them to the world :)....
LOL, like this YouTube learned You something new as well. I have to say that I only saw these uniforms on the last 4 flights I made with Qatar. But it isn't that important to me. I am happy these people give a class service and that is what counts to me.

@TAIAD It is the same uniform, but once inflight for the service you wear the dining jacket or vest (dark blue) and the girls remove their hats. That's all. :)

Cabin Crew represent their airline, they are the face of the airline they work for. Airlines should choose more good looking Cabin Crew. However, I agree only partly with shezizuni. I remember Pan Am Cabin Crew very positively. Qantas has a good looking young team, too.

To be honest, it's quite annoying for crew when passengers are standing in the galley and just chilling/chatting. You disturb them by blocking the way. It's already crowded there and your additional presence doesn't facilitate their already hard work.

Nope, I am not from Germany. I live in Italy but I took for several reasons the flight from Munich. Yes there were a few Idians onboard. Actually, on that Qatar flight I found a lot of different nationalities.

@SweetHoneyParadise they like to take people who are very submissive so that you dont challenge thier systems, because they will treat you like shit with no freedom! 10pm curfew everyday when you start! cant sleep outside company accomodations....alot of crew are very scared to make mistakes even little mistakes cause once you do ur fired! and its very hard to get out of the company once your in...my friends ran away on layovers in thier country just to leave. Go emirates more freedom.

Indeed, most of the arab airliners have a multi-racial crew. Pilots included. It's only an advantage for the customers.

@hotelhotel111 Actually more than 50% of the passengers in almost all the flights I have operated as crew were full of Arabs. Some routes more than others.
You forget that it's an Arab airline base out of Qatar...An Arab country with a very large Arab expat population from surrounding Middle Eastern countries.

I only flew 4 times with Qatar and on these 4 flights it were mainly western men (single men) heading to BKK (LOL) Unfortunately I probably will not fly with Qatar anymore since they stepped out of the Miles and More programm of teh Star Aliance. I am forced to look every time for other flights within the Miles and More programm. A pity I have to say!

@yemswe Erm. I'm in that video. I was operating crew on that flight and I speak Arabic. So does the first girl seen with a tray of Juice in her hand. Lina's Algerian/Russian so she speaks Russian, Arabic & French.

i know QR is an amazing airline, but i only see 1 problem with them and that is, i haven't seen a video of their cabin crew enjoying and stuff...as emirates and etihad does :(...and yes offcourse QR is one of the 5 stars airlines in the world :D...and thats true...if possible please we wanna see QR cabin crew...and this video is 5 stars offcourse...thanx for sharing :)...

I flew QR and Emirates in 2009. Both are great airliners. Onhis flight in particular (where I made the video) the crew was very friendly and they were composed of; a philipino, a south african, a serb, a malasian a swiss and an other 1 which I don't remember the nationality of. I honestly have to admit that this was the most pleasant fligt I had in the past 20 years! It's such a pleasure to have such nice and young people around You.

Yes! i agree with you...i have flown with them myself from PEW -DOH - MAN and they've fab Cabin Crew, i also met with some of their crew members on that flight . From PEW to DOH many of them were from Pakistan, India and Philiphines and from DOH to MAN, there were other crew member from different nationalities :)....Thanx for the info my friend..but my whole point was that QR cabin crew should make some video clips and show them to the world :)....

LOL, like this YouTube learned You something new as well. I have to say that I only saw these uniforms on the last 4 flights I made with Qatar. But it isn't that important to me. I am happy these people give a class service and that is what counts to me.

@TAIAD It is the same uniform, but once inflight for the service you wear the dining jacket or vest (dark blue) and the girls remove their hats. That's all. :)

Not much choice of airline on some routes :-(
I had to fly KLM recently. Was horrible. Put it this way: Delta lost my luggage, then lost it again after they found it - yet I'd still rather fly with them than KLM.
