ok... i do this video for a job and i reconogized the mistake in two thing... first, the violin is in a wrong position, is with the left hand, but when ai do this video y didnt know, and second, a friend of my had this music in a carpet of aphex twin, for that reason in a first impresion i use the name of aphex twin, but the real song belong to Outside....

It was on an album entitled ROUGH WITH THE SMOOTH on DARRADO Records.

"TO FORGIVE BUT NOT FORGET" is the track name.

By the way OUTSIDE had another album that was very good - Does anyone know the title of it.

It had some operatic voices in the mix - actually very tastefully done.

This is NOT Aphex Twin - Richard James and Matt Cooper are both geniuses, but genres apart - musically. This was by Outside (Cooper) from "The Rough and the Smooth" released at the beginning of the long hot Summer of 1995.....

It's not. It's a violin solo looped over chopped up amen break drums. Aphex never uses the amen break; thus it's very unlikely to be him.

And it's not very good really.

I'm sure Aphex Twin has used the amen break in his earlier work before (i.e PacMan, Classics, Selected Ambient Works 85-92 etc) but not in anything from the last 10 years or so. Even when he has used it its been so re-worked and processed that it would be barely recognisable anyway. He certainly wouldn't do something as obvious and unimaginative as this anyway.

Also, I own every release he has ever put out (BIG fan!) and this isn't on anything I've got. The tags on this video should be edited.
