Meh, none of these clips really shocked or revolted me, but then again I've helped skin and gut quite a few animals myself, so I suppose it wouldn't. Really, if you remove the smell of blood and waste from the equation just watching the guts spill out of the animal isn't all that disgusting.

I do agree that it's weird why the scientists were so amazed at what they found though. "Oh my god, it has a SPINE! CAN YOU IMAGINE?!"

Not "entertainment", sure, but it's still something people seem to want to see, in one form or another. Plus, isn't that show supposed to be a science show, not entertainment one?

I have to echo Frankie's shock at how amazed and interested all the scientists were when they performed autopsies. These weren't exotic animals that had never been cut open before; everything there should be common or easily accessible knowledge to them because people have clearly researched those animals before.
