now i cant wait for wii u, cuss imagine a fun game like this in super hd. (for the curious of how powerful wii u will be, its gunna be about the same as 2 xbox 360 combined. xbox 720 is still gunna be 20% more powerful then wii u, but thats an improvement compared to wii vs xbox360, cuss 20% is about the difference between ps3 and xbox 360, and EVERYONE knows thats not much different :) so nintendo will be able to play next next gen consoles, along with microsoft and sony :D) long live nintendo!

If the story, characters and level design were better, this game could be to the Wii what Metroid Prime was to GameCube. To me Sword mechanics are better than in Skyward Sword (You can even perform a Backstab!!, IN FIRST PERSON!!!) and Gunplay is as fun as Metroid Prime 3 (The finishers are awesome)

In this game, i find myself smashing more boxes, crates objects and cans etc other than "Enemies" to obtain my money LOL but other than that, the slick ninja moves that have been added to Red Steel make it so much more FUN and original for this console. I really enjoyed it, but the story line could have been much better improved [7/10] :)

@shadowcrawler24 u should get it.It's got crap story. But the combat is so good that even though it is repetitive it always doesn't matter. Plus it will keep by just adding in that one more upgrade to keep u interested for the duration of the game. Although some of the best moves don't work on bosses making it funner to fight off heaps of enemies with a big enemy in the middle. I'd rather they'd just given the bosses advanced moves and given them the stuns and stuff of a normal enemy.

@fanblow Borderlands and Red Steel 2 are nothing alike, in terms of gameplay. The only thing that's similar about them is the graphical style. Borderlands is a cross between an RPG & a FPS, while Red Steel 2 is a first-person pure action game that combines sword-fighting and shooting mechanics.

I hope Ubisoft makes a third one adds more to it. The thing that gets me about this game is after your done its pretty boring afterwards. Multiplayer would be nice but not necessary. I just think they can add more stuff to the story mode or add some other modes or something. Cause even though I love this game its hard to pick it back up once you've done everything. The currency system for this tedious as well. If they can add side missions to it I think it will benefit greatly.

@hopeyoulikehyper Agreed, you can easily beat him just by using the Tiger every time he attacks, then attacking him while he's stunned. I think that he would've been far more challenging to beat if he had lots of henchmen helping him, or if he had sword attacks upon which the Tiger woudn't work.

@BullpwhoTV Dude. Most of these games don't even involve swinging at all. All of these games are of great quality if you actually get the time to play them. Sure, there are fewer of the violent sort of games, but all of the games I mentioned are unique and are of a way more different and memorable experience than games on other systems. Well whatever, if you don't like the Wii then I guess I can't do anything about it. At least you'll experience other great games like Portal 2 and Uncharted 2.

@Guesturedude I know there are a few great titles but there are very few that appeal to me. The only thing i think nintendo has going for them are their classic franchises. But all they keep doing with those franchises remaking them for the Wii. I want them to make more titles like twilight princess where they actually make a brand new game and continue to move forward with the franchise rather then living in a world of nostalgia. Wii just seems more party-ish with alot of fun 4 player games

@BullpwhoTV I agree. Nintendo is kind of getting stale and repetitive with their classic Mario, Donkey Kong and such. They do need to work on getting more of the hardcore gamers back with more appealing games. Unfortunately, Nintendo wants the casual audience a bit more. Maybe for the money? We need games like Star Fox and F-Zero and maybe more new IPs that include challenging and memorable gameplay. Hopefully with the Wii U coming out next year we will get the games that we all want.
