The horn solo is quite painful to watch though. The pianist's phrasing was quite pleasing, even if the 'raw energy' that the song required wasn't quite displayed. (:

Damn, that trumpet player at the beginning soundslike their struggling...and what the hell's up with the bassoonist at 3:02?? Oh shit it's a youth ochestra! ha wow okay...in that case, this is pretty impressive...troublesome horn solo at 6:06 though... got a little scary there at the end...but overall, great pianist performance!

BUt ConnieDaEvilCaw, Sammy plays beautiful jazz too; she knows jazz phrasing and improv. I think that this was a smart and gorgeous performance. congrats sammy I'm proud of you

good job sammy. very musical performance. just have a few tips.

#1 this is impressionism with jazz touch so strive for vivacity more than lustrous romantic expression

#2 seems like ur trying a lil bit harder than needed. play from your upper arm which means pull outward horizontally from the key and not push down with your writst. this will help ease up some tension and you can move ur hands and fingers around more efficiently.

oh and #3 try to control ur body mvt. it could distract the audience from the beautiful music ur playin. but if ur musical expression will be impaired without moving uncontrollably then yes, u can keep moving all u want...
