  • Great device, I'm getting my BaHa this Friday.

  • I have one of the new processors my insurance covered it but my skin will not heal around the abutement so my Doctor took out the abutement. Since I no longer need the processor I am selling it. I used it for for about 2 months for a total of 2 battery lives. So maybe 40 hours. My hearing was amazing but the fact I could not get my skin to heal around the abutment made it not worth it. I hear great in one ear and I have about 40% in the other. Hit me up at wantben@yahoo.com if your interested.

  • I really like my BAHA. I have been wearing it for about 6 years now. I think it is time to get my processor changed - the cost is about $3500. As for the surgery costs - I do not know as my universal health care pay for it. I had to pay for the hearing aid processor.

  • The BAHA device costs around $4000 and many insurance companies do not cover it. The surgery is about $30,000.

  • @wimpog97

Spread here no lie. The actual price for surgery is 2000 to 3000

  • i dont know i am so used to it

  • I also have a BAHA too and i love it

  • How does it feel like having the titanium plate in your scull all the time?

  • @wimpog97 You cant really feel it once you get use to it without knowing lol but at first you will feel the tightness in your head XD and really, the only thing you will feel is the one on the outside!

  • How is wearing a hearing aid to correct poor hearing any different to wearing glasses to correct poor eyesight? Do all those millions of glasses-wearers "look like robots"?

  • @drwalpurgis It like an alternate hearing aid instead of hearing aid that is for middle ears, this one is bone hearing. For example: We're deaf cause of our ear but we can feel the vibration greater than average (depends i think) I was born deaf in one side and i been wearing this Baha hearing aid about... 3 or 4 years o.o and it really help greatly!!! (my experiences XD) And who said those who wear glasses look like robot? only jerks, assholes, idiots would say that -.-

  • I am getting one in less than 3 weeks and I am SO excited about it!

  • I have a BAHA and I really like it.
