Fr. Mike knows and understands what liturgy is about. Liturgy is commemoration, not reinactment. Liturgy that tries to take us back 2000 years to a remote time and place does not make the Gospel real to us. Good liturgy celebrates the reality of the Gospel here and now. Thank you Fr. Mike for your words; equally helpful today as they were a year ago.
