how will this work with touch screen devices? if the screen is vibrating, and you are playing a game for example, wont in interfere with your touch inputs?
This is a clever idea, but unless I'm missing something, it is NOT stereo. Although there may be two channels of audio (L/R) being sent to the screen, it appears they are essentially being summed together- it's one giant sheet (akin to having one speaker). Unless the left side of the material is resonating the left channel, and the right side of the material is resonating the right channel (which to my knowledge, is physically impossible), then you are hearing a MONO sound...
@BrandonSmith56 From the emo labs web page - A single, optically transparent membrane is two separate speakers (left and right), and provides full-range, natural sounding stereo reproduction.
@BrandonSmith56 There's Piezo Actuators on either side of the speaker membrane and it vibrates the membrane towards the middle where the vibrations cancel each other out I believe. It's not a very large stereo field (only as big as the screen) but stereo nonetheless
These invisible speakers quality is pretty CLEAR AHAHAAHHAAHAHHA

Gee, this would have been more to the point if the video's SOUND wasn't HORRIBLE!
Never mind, it was a rhetorical thought; people who value sound always have external speakers.
