  • I like the way he moves, it´s so passionate

  • This is a lovely performance!

I've been trying to find a recording of another piece performed by Pascal Gallois - Voiles, by Simon Bainbridge.

Haven't been able to find it anywhere except as a brief mention.

  • Very wonderful player.

I'm interested in Multiphonic of Modern bassoon

  • Beautiful playing. This isn't no. 6 of the Hersant 8 pieces as written. It's a bit of no. 3 with some elaboration, then all of no. 6, then the end of no. 3 with more elaboration.

  • I went to see him perform Sequenza XII in Birmingham. It was excellent and I was really impressed of how he could circle breath

  • he is the best bassoon contemporary player just amazing.nobody play berio like him

  • he plays very well but the way he moves around makes him seem arrogant

  • It is not arrogant, it was exactly what was asking the composer Philippe Hersant. It is a Dialog between the bassoon and the orchestra. The dramaturgy of interpretation is wanted by the composer

  • You're being too judgmental.

  • Its weird to think about how that instrument came into existence. My god so much history. Look at all us children.

  • Is Britney Spears in this or what? How did I get onto this fagot stuff?

  • wow.Dat guy good! Dat guy good!

  • lol looks constipated as 3:50... ahahahahah XD, but other than that pretty interesting...

  • Very beautifull & interesting music! And genius perfomance!

  • is that guy doing vibrato with his jaw or throat? cause it should be abdominal

  • Dunno, looks as his tongueroot is moving like crazy while he's making vibrato.

  • amazing

  • uno dei pochi esempi in cui i "nuovi suoni" vengono usati per far musica.

  • il n y a rien a dire

    c'est le BOSS

  • who did compose this?

  • Philippe Hersant, one of the best student of André Jolivet

  • tears running down my face and shivers up my back. Beautiful. Is there a CD recording of this I can buy? Thank you from the bottom of my hear for such joy!

  • just perfect!! bravo! :)

  • Is he that played for the first time the sequence of Berio?

  • Yes the sequenza was composed with him and for him.

  • Pascal is the best for modern music...

  • awesome circular breathing, very hard to control it.

  • by the way if you're in Paris on march 4 and 5 Pascal Gallois will be performing with ex Arditti quartet cello star Rohan de Saram in an amazing place...check on pascalgallois-newsdotcom

  • Nice but y are his cheeks puffed out -.-

  • it's part of his circular breathing technique.

  • Circular breathing my friend

  • FANTASTIC MUSICIAN/BASSOONIST. (in that order)

THIS is what it takes to make music from notes. Bravissimo Pascal. Wonderful composition and performance. Thank You.

  • Is he circular breathing??

  • Superbe

  • That was a great performance.

  • great great pascal!

    you are a real virtuoso

  • how old is he? 50?

    Beautiful!

  • A legend has no age :-)

  • AMEN
