This was uploaded 2 years ago today :) I've done NaNo 2 years now and "won" both times, and I've never been more excited and in love with writing. I love my characters and plot for this upcoming NaNo season. Nov 1, here I come!

I'd suggest downloading AP Tuner--it's free and it works just like an electronic tuner with a computer microphone. That's how I keep Kaylee tuned. You're ahead of me. I'm at 21,904. I need to get some serious writing done this weekend.

That's awesome! Keep it up! I write a song a week for my 4th grade students. They're doing the young writer's version of nano, so I wanted to get them pumped about it.  The uke is such a great instrument. Sounds like your novel can become a hit musical when all is said and done. Good luck!

That's so cool. The uke is such a great instrument for elementary-aged kids. The kids I babysit are fascinated by mine. (And they haven't heard me play it since I actually learned how to play it!)
