I want to urge everyone to ride this thing on a powder day. The peak to peak gondola is so cool that you should not use the high alpine lifts ever again or perhaps only in late afternoon. I'll make sure the conditions in the high alpine are acceptable while you ride sideways.
u r hilarious. i bet you didn't realize they could be on a mountain with way more pow left, while you have to go down between the peaks, wait in line for the chair, and then wait for the chair to get you to the top. thats a good 25-35 minutes i'd say, compared to ten on the peak to peak. Not so smart now are ya?
Waste 10 mins on peak to peak and you'll just face longer lines at peak chair, harmony, glacier or 7th...smart people know where the powder is at 6AM, they don't waste time travelling sideways looking for it!
This proves that lift passes are too expensive. To spend $51 million on a lift that travels laterally is insulting to any rider. Thanks, but no thanks WB, I'll spend my money locally (North Shore) or at Mt. Baker, where powder days are measured in feet not centimeters.
My brother is on this. He operated the winch you can see from 1:50 on
