I have that kind of stock clamp and it seems to work great on 2 of my bikes, but doesn't work on one with tapered chainstays or my road bike with thick stays. This looks good!

Good to upgrade from clamp to hitch, but you lost the spring that prevents tipping of trailer if bike tips. With the urethane hitch piece won't both trailer and bike tip of one tips?
