CALLICA IS OVER !!! LOS ANGELES — Callie and Erica's burgeoning romance on "Grey's Anatomy" is coming to an abrupt end, and so is Brooke Smith's role as Dr. Erica Hahn.

Smith's final appearance as Dr. Callie Torres' flame comes in this Thursday's episode of ABC's medical drama, the network said Monday.

The move was a creative decision and unrelated to the sexual orientation of Smith's character, said series creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes.

I kind of like this song despite myself, and it sort of fits with the callie/erica thing (good video) - i actually think that callie cares about erica though, if you look at the thing that sparked her to kiss erica - the whole episode with the guy who jumped into concrete for the love of his life, and callie advising the girl to admit that she loves him. but of course, it's mainstream tv so it probably won't go far.
