Interesting as I have just got a New Surly LHT for a few weeks now. How are those Cantilever Brakes at stopping or slowing down ,coming down a Hillside with a load aboard. I have found you get more stopping Power when using the Brakes on the Drops instead of the Hoods.
As much as I love a good on-bike video, I gotta say a "loaded" touring bike has front panniers too! But nonetheless the scenery is epic and I wish I coulda been there...

if you've got any better handheld video of you doing 40mph on loaded touring bike, I'd love to see it, superflab!
