I LOVE the movie but the incredible video trailer makes the movie look even cooler than it is!. I can remember listening to the music in the trailer over and over again when I rented it out years ago. It could make such an awesome dance tune.
He's lean, mean, and spilling blood on the silver screen! Cordell is walking his beat and making the streets of New York a dangerous place...for the bad guys to die!
Man, I loved this movie. Cordell is one guy you don't wanna mess with.
I respect the hell out of good old death-defying stunt work, not this fake-looking CGI crap of today. I recently picked up a used VHS tape of "Maniac Cop 2," but haven't watched it yet. A few people tell me it's better than the first one.

The music in this trailer is awesome. Would be nice to find out where it came from (it was probably some pre-existing track they grabbed for this).

Some pretty heavy stunts in this film. I worked on the 2nd unit shoot, which included the ending with the casket. Pretty fun stuff.

Yes. He was a tough as nails cop screwed over by his superiors. He was put in prison where he was "killed." Or so people thought.
