jimmy's way better than this. He has a groovy jazz style. Suits Megadeth, but on a solo, he's just not as "metal" as megadeth followers would like.

@sanketjariwala i dont think he had much of a chance to prove his ability to the fans, TWNAH was only starting to get back to megadeths metal roots...maybe if he had played on system has failed or further on he could have gotten more recognition

I think all Jimmy would need to become a better drummer is to throw some zest in to his drumming. He needs to spice it up a bit, his drumming is very dry and doesnt seem to have much personality! Hes got good timing, nice rudimental vocab, pretty good on power, just not enough zest or life!

@jayakishore1234 drum solos are meant to be interesting 99% of the time. If its at the point where you can't distinguish it as a normal beat or a drum solo,. its not a drumsolo ex: this video.

What's a good solo for you? This is not boring, for you maybe is, but there a lot of people who respect what he did, and by the way, you can only dream to do a solo which is good 10% of this.

oh I don't know go watch some mudvayne/matt mcdonough and you'll see songs with drum parts fifty times more interesting than this. This solo would be more interesting if there was more variation, it all sounds the same and boring. Maybe jimmy has better drum solos, but this isn't one of them, don't get so offended.
