  • They call him names like 'socialist' instead of 'nigger'. Oh, cause they never called other liberals Socialists right? Welcome to politics, now grow the fuck up!

  • whatever race this thing is, I want it erased.

  • point 1--obama is an african

point 2---obama is not the first black president.

point 3---obama is not for african americans./israelites

stop playing yourself, read the 6 black presidents, the think about the title of the vid?playa!

  • @ISRAELITEKNUCKLEHEAD obama is african-european and yes he is not black he is half-caste biracial. he was concieved for 9-months inside a white womb embryo and fed through a white test-tube which makes him both scientifically and genetically mixed-race biracial.and he is african-european because his white ancestors evolved from europe and his black ancestors evolved from africa.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Test tube? Obama is black because he is perceived as such. He's just not culturally black if we are going to generalize. He represents relatively few other black people in terms of condition. The rest of your post is nonsense. I'm mixed and no one ever questions my blackness because I grew up as a black kid in a black neighborhood. Who your parents are is not the only thing that determines race? Malcom X, Huey Newton... these people were black son.

  • @daswann14 obama is racially not black and it does not take brain-science to figure that out but unfortuntely for some idiots it does. you,re are also half-caste and its very clear to see. and for your information all half-caste people are considerd as100% white in africa which is the mother-land of the entire black race. it only take s a first graders degree to realize that obama and every other every other half-caste person in the world is not black.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste That's not true. Race means different things all over the world. It is all about perception. You are stupid piece of shit. I mean straight retarded. By that logic everyone on earth is mixed. But that is not the case. Because race is a social construct. It's not biological you dumb ass motherfucker.

  • @daswann14 i knew that you would not be able to hold a valid topic with out using the words dumbass and retard. you have been proven wrong sucker and obama is not black and if you travel to africa you will see people who are 100% black/brown with not one single drop of white blood in their viens. even kids who are only 7 8 and 9 years of age will not call obama or any racially mixed person black in africa i know this because i have been to africa many times. and if anything they would say white.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Stop acting like a dumbass retard then. Your limited intellect might be genetic but race is not. Idiot.

  • @daswann14 you know down inside that what im saying is pure logical. obama is not black end of story. he is half-caste. and if you visit england or africa not one person will call you black so get over it. and stop self-hating on your own mixed-identity.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste No it's stupid, that's what I've been telling you this whole time. Of course they would see me as black. I have a high a very high opinion of myself you dumb ass. Race is not genetic; to believe so is foolish. You keep insisting that race is different depending on where you are, yet you still can't get that it's not genetic? Are you that daft?

  • @daswann14 you dont even look black you idiot. and no they would most definitely not call you black. i lived in england for 6 years and every body calls mixed-race people half-caste their. even the mixed-race people who live in england call themselfs half-caste so you,re talking shit. and race is based on genetics when it comes to who is black and who isnt black. and you and obama are not black and are not historical tradictional black african people. you,re half-caste people.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste What are you talking about? You're a dumb racist piece of shit and though your ignorance is amusing, you're now getting repetitive.

  • @daswann14 no you idiot. their is no differance with calling obama white as calling him black because thats what he fucking is a half-white and half-black (half-caste) man. dam you yanks are so dumb and (un-cultured).

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Are you kidding?

  • @daswann14 why would you want to call yourself something which you,re not. if your both parents where black then yes you would be black. but they are clearly both not black by looking at your appearance. their is no differance in calling obama white as in calling him black. and he even looks more white than black with his caucasiod skull and bone-structure. biracial people who call themselfs black are another form of wiggers trying to be something which they are not.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste I'm mixed and black. There is a massive difference calling Obama white rather black. Your ignorance knows no bounds you stupid piece of shit.

  • @daswann14 you,re also mixed and white too.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste I'm not white, I could never pass for white, I'd never be accepted as white, and I grew up black. Douche.

  • @daswann14 ok you grew up around blacks all your life. but what about all the half-caste people who grow up around only white people. listen man you should really leave america and its sick twisted idiotic one-blood-drop-rule system. and visit africa the mother land and see for yourself what africans will consider you ass. and it surley will not be black.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Stop saying half-caste. Your comprehension level is soooo low.

  • @daswann14 i know that deep down in your brain and soul you know that you,re not black.but for some strange reason you keep on insisting that obama is black when he is half-white. it is not racially or genetically possible for a white person to have a black child only onless they adopt a child from the adoption board. nothing you say to me will change my mind about obama not being black because im far to educated to be proven wrong on this subject.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste You don't know anything. That's quite apparent. You educated?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

  • @daswann14 i truely cannot belive that you yourself are mixed-race and you,re totally againts your own mixed-race identity just like (bob marley). but one thing that bob marley did say was this he said me dont dip on the black man side or the white mans side that he dips on gods side the one who created him and caused him to come from black and white. descution ended.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Being mixed is part of my black identity. Bob Marley was BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Learn how to spell discussion you dimwit.

  • @daswann14 bob marley was biracial. check out his biography or simply type in on youtube bob marleys father and see what comes up. his father was a white man. and he looked more like his white father than his black mother in facial features. listen i understand that you have grown up in america and think you,re black because of the slave trade. but you,re not black and never will be a black person. you where born mixed-race biracial and will die mixed-race biracial enough said.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste I know about Bob Marley. You're an idiot. People like you make me sad for humanity. You're too stupid to ever do anything of benefit to anyone else. Idiot.

  • black americans depend to much on white people and their biracial children to victorsize their achievments. if you look at all the black american peoples representitives in america they have all mainly been half-caste people like obama and quarter-caste people like collin-powel. where as black africans have always been independent with out the help of white people and half-caste people because all the african presidents and representitives are black like nelson-mandela idi-amin and robert-mugabe

  • @daswann14 ontil the black american race stops depending on white people and half-caste people to victorsize them in politics then you yanks will never have your first black president.

  • @daswann14 if you put obama in the middle of 100 black native africans he would stand out like wild-fire. the reason being is because he is not fucking black.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste You show little understanding of anything. There are all shades of 'native africans' many of which he looks just like. And you simply don't understand anything about race.

  • @daswann14 obama is just as much white as he is black and thats why in so many countries out-side america we call him half-caste or mixed-race. but you (un-cultured) yanks have a sick slave master (one-blood-drop-rule) system claiming any person who has 1% of black blood in them as just fully black. when that satanic rule terminates not only gods creations but genetics. obama is not black person and will never be a black person no matter how much you insist.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste You're black if you're black. Mariah Carey isn't black even though she's mixed, neither is the guy from prison break. But Malcolm X was black. You're so dumb. You acknowledge in every post that race is a s social construct, which is my point. Yet you keep arguing against that fact. You are not a smart person.

  • @daswann14 malcom x was a coloured person. in (south-africa) they call half-caste people coloured and it does not mean just from black and white. you can be white and indian or black and indian. but once you,re not 100% black and it shows in your body features and skin-tone that you,re not 100% black then you,re a coloured person.so malcom x was a coloured person. in america black and coloured is th same thing. where as in africa coloured simply means mixed-race.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Malcom was light skinned with white blood. Nobody is 100% anything, this notion of purity is false.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Yes and that 1 drop rule has affected race relation in this country, please stop refuting your own arguments. You are an idiot. It's not genetics that determine race; it's social context.

  • @daswann14 even if some biracial half-caste people look more white or more black they still remain biracial. in order to be a black person your both parents must 100% black. and in order to be a white person your both parents must be 100% white. but when you,re 50% white and 50% black then you,re (what-- say it out loud dumb-ass a biracial half-caste person. if little small african and english kids can understand it then why cant your grown up ass understand it. you,re a very sick person.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Nobody is 100% anything. Race is not genetic!!!!

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste You're a stupid sick person talking about half-castes and racial purity. Go join the 3rd reich.

  • @daswann14 and he will also never be a white person no matter how much black africans insist because he belongs to both black and white people (50-50) 50%-white and 50%-black full-stop enough said. and he has no native-american-indian blood for him to be a true historical african-american person. you must have 1 black african perant and 1 native-indian perant to be genetically african-american. america has no history only war slavery and collanization because its native-indian land.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste He certainly isn't white, because he could never be perceived as a white man in the society in which he grew up. Out of whose asshole are you pulling this shit?

  • @daswann14 well yes in america half-caste people are obviously not going to be considerd as white. but in african they call them white muzungu which means rich white european person. biracial and white is considerd as the same in africa. the only main part of africa where biracials are considerd as actual biracial is in south-africa since their is many whites blacks and mixed-race people their. so they wher able to learn from each other of what the genetic facts is.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Race is not genetic you idiot. It is social.

  • listen dude this is my last comment to you. its really not that hard to understand. i personally know lots of half-caste and quarter-caste folks in africa who consider and call themselfs white. and i know a small few who call themselfs black and some who simply accept themselfs for being mixed-race. but if you feel comfort in calling yourself black then so be it. but to be realistic you,re not black and white but biracial half-caste mixed-race. and dont belong soley to one pasific continent.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste So? That's because race is a social construct and not biological; which supports my point. You're an idiot. Who uses the word caste? God damn you are an ignorant piece of shit.

  • @daswann14 its not about using caste words. its simply about genetics and understanding what is what. and in this case obama is not black because he does not soley belong to the black race. he belongs to both black and white people. and he has two continents with in him. and the last time i checked obama is the son of a late african immigrant so thats another reason why he is not african-american because his white ancestors never enslaved his black ancestors.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Race is not genetic. Obama shares very little in common with most african-americans, I already said that. So what? Good gravy you're foolishness knows no bounds.

  • @daswann14 if anything obama should be called a white tanned man since so many of his white siblings change to his colour when in hot sunny countries like spain and brazil. but either way he is not white. but he was raised prodominantely by his white mother and white grand parents and he only knows white culture. so by culture he is a white man.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste We agree on his cultural influences mostly.

  • Comment removed

  • @ISRAELITEKNUCKLEHEAD Fool. G Washington was the 1st president of the constitution which is where we start keeping count.

  • It is absolutely amazing to watch other liberals say that he isn't radical enough. The most important thing in Government, is not the ideological bias that demagogue politicians put forward, but the welfare of the country. I am reminded of what Abraham Lincoln said "If I could save the Union without freeing any slave, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves, I would do it; and if I could do it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would do it." The Country is first!

  • @Platonist100 We are so far off from what the founders of this Great Country wanted... One of the federalist wrote "The pride of states, as well as of men, naturally disposes them to justify all their actions, and opposes their acknowledging, correcting, or repairing their errors and offenses. The national government, in such cases, will not be affected by this pride..." What we need is a national government that will focus on what's right for her inhabitants and work as the founders intended.

  • @Platonist100 And that is to correct the vindictiveness of individuals (Since Bush did reconciliation we should do reconciliation, bullshit) and cultivate a spirit of mutual amity and concord. I read something the other day by David Hume that was perfect he said "Those who employ their pens on political subjects, free from party rage, and party predjudices, cultivate a science, which, of all others, contributes most to public utility..." This is how we should move forward.

  • i don't know if i would vote for him again. he has done a lot of good things, he just hasn't stood up like GWB and said, i am doing this, fuck you.

  • @freethinker3161 Don't vote for him. I cant think of 1 legit good thing he did which was apporve the payout in the black famrers lawsuit. I can't think of anything else he did a 'good' job on. And on HC, oil drilling, tax cuts, and doing something about the war crimes prior to his admin he's just plain shitty. We have to get a real president that will fight for us, not help destroy the country. I'd rather let the GOP destroy the country, than have my guy be a corporate puppet.

  • @daswann14 allright here are some things i think he did that were good, Heath reform(it's not the best, but not the worst), reformed the college loan system, saved GM and Chrysler( I don't care what anyone says, that was the right move for the country), new bank and loan regulation, Wall Street reform, and closing Guantanamo was big to me. not so bad first two years, well see what happens but his is bumming me out with the tax breaks.

  • 1 of 5:

I'm not sure my thoughts are worthy of adding, but since you asked . . . here's my two cents: my feeling is that b/c of white people's ugly history with blacks in America, a negative comment from a white Republican toward Obama is going to resonate more ominously than a negative comment from a white Republican toward someone like, say, Bill Clinton.

  • 2 of 5:

That is, the likes of Limbaugh and Gingrich were quite savage with Clinton in the 1990s: that he was utterly loathsome, a repulsive anti-American bent on destroying our country, etc. If Clinton had been black, the Republican savageness would most likely have been attributed to racism. But just as people from the same race can be vicious with each other, people of different races can be savage with each other and it's not *necessarily* about race.

  • 3 of 5:

That being said, I never watch the likes of Limbaugh & Glenn Beck & so on . . . so maybe they really are worse with Obama. I admit that in this case, I don't have the evidence to back up my hypothesis.

That being said, there are plenty of other examples—one that comes to mind is a videotape in the mid/late 1990s of white policemen catching a guy who was trying to run away from them, pinning the guy down, and then . . .

  • 4 of 5:

. . . brutally kicking him in the balls while he was handcuffed laying on the ground. But because the victim was white too, the viciousness just didn't resonate like it didn't with the viciousness of the Rodney King tape: the act didn't recall / speak back to centuries of inhuman behavior. I admit that for me, seeing white cops brutalize a white guy didn't seem quite as evil as seeing white cops brutalize a black man.

  • 5 of 5:

So I feel it can't be helped that we're going to view political attacks on Obama differently than we view attacks on white politicians. Kind of like when it comes to making jokes about Jews, it's going to sound much worse coming from a German than a Scott: even for Germans born long after WWII. History can't help but play a role.

  • @ToddAllenGates Damn good point about the German. You made really good points in general and they might apply to people who I didn't give the benefit of the doubt. However I beg you to watch a non-friday episode of Beck (or listen to his radio show), you're about 50% likely to hear something racial. Or listen to a non-friday limbaugh show where you're almost certain to hear something racial. Thanks for all the thoughtful comments.

  • @daswann14

    > You made really good points in general and they might apply to people who I didn't give the benefit of the doubt.

I guess I'm thinking mostly about the people in my company--I work for the Great Satan, in the pharmaceutical industry. They were very anti-Hillary Clinton, and anti-Obama too, but always craft their language to focus only on the "adverse effects to patient health" (translation: "adverse effects to our profits"!).

  • @ToddAllenGates Lol. Yeah companies all care about profit, and nothing else. Though unless you work on those ads that try to trick people into believing they have a diseases and thus need medication I'm sure you're in no worse of a business than most. It makes sense that corps would be anti-dem, I guess.

  • @daswann14

    > I'm sure you're in no worse of a business than most.

My two previous occupations were as a musician and a waiter (the two go together), and oddly enough, I found them to be much MORE corrupt/exploitative than the pharmaceutical industry! With music & waitering, cheating & skirting the law & sexual abuse are rampant. Big Pharma on the other hand, is very wary of lawsuits and FDA investigations, and sticks much more to the book.

  • @ToddAllenGates I think it does resonate a little less. Blacks always have had tension with the cops, and the history of their unequal (on the high end) victimization/ profiling of the cops is well documented. I suppose that's part of it. However, I think it was the decision to acquit that caused the most anger. I think it's normal to feel that way, though I think I empathize with most people getting their ass kicked pretty evenly =)

  • @daswann14

    > I think it does resonate a little less.

I feel the same way ... and it may have something to do with me growing up in what I felt was a "racist-tolerant" predominantly white area where the only black person I knew was my sister (adopted). White kids I grew up with felt free to use racial slurs about black people, and when I objected (as I took this as a personal/family insult) ... well, you can imagine that it didn't go over very well!

  • @ToddAllenGates I can most certainly imagine. That's kind of cool. The only white person (the last white families left when I was about 5) I really knew before I started doing extra-cirricular activites at 10ish or so was my mom (I'm mixed not adopted though). It presents an interesting dynamic. I had to do similar things when my friends would say whitey this, whitey that... I never did change their minds... eventually they just stopped seeing my mom as white.

  • @daswann14

    > it was the decision to acquit that caused the most anger.

    I agree.

    > I empathize with most people getting their ass kicked pretty evenly

The video clip was quite brutal--the guy handcuffed on the ground, and the cop with these heavy boots pushing his legs apart and repeatedly kicking him in the balls--but white-on-white / black-on-black police brutality just doesn't sell in the news market! I saw it on the news once, and never again.

  • @ToddAllenGates Wow. A repeated ball-kick. That should have made news. I was thinking it was just one kick; and (maybe I'm a dick for thinking this) those things usually get viewed as a blooper. But there is no worse kind of assault than stomping on someone else's testes. That should have been shown. You're right it definately seems that interacial police brutality is what sells.

  • @daswann14

    > Wow. A repeated ball-kick. That should have made news

This was right after Rodney King won 3.8 million dollars in the civil court, so it must have been in 1993. The victim was talking about the King trial and how he planned to sue on the same grounds. I don't know what happened, as I never heard of the story again (also, this was in the pre-internet age: news was harder to find back then). But again, white police brutality to a blond-surfer-looking dude ... no deep resonance!

  • @ToddAllenGates They do. Limbaugh plays this song 'Barack the Magic Negro' quite often among a host of other things, and Beck tries incite racial fear by doing bogus (most but not all) on the new black panthers, and how the department of justice has a decree not to prosecute black people for certain crimes. He constantly cries reverse racism to the point of calling Obama a racist. He also talks about black liberation theology and how it's the agenda of the Obama admin.

  • @daswann14 ... 'Barack the Magic Negro' .. Beck tries incite racial fear ... He constantly cries reverse racism to the point of calling Obama a racist.

AMAZING that these guys are allowed on the air! It seems people get fired for a lot less ... I work for a big corporation and it's so lawsuit-wary that we get web-seminars on political correctness (or whatever they call it): my company is cautious to the point where race/religion shouldn't even be mentioned.

  • @ToddAllenGates You have a point here, though they (Limbaugh et al.) do make racially specific comments. I was also pretty young and didn't pay attention to as much of the rhetoric surrounding Clinton save the Lewinski ordeal. I'm sure that affects the way I see things too. But yeah, I'm sure the viciousness was comprable.

  • @daswann14

    > they (Limbaugh et al.) do make racially specific comments.

I feel naive it admitting this, but I truly didn't know that: I never watch them. My time is so pressed as it is (w/ work & family), and the likes of Limbaugh strike me as such idiots that I feel I can't waste my time that way. > didn't pay attention to as much of the rhetoric surrounding Clinton

I'm pretty old (48) and remember it well!

  • @ToddAllenGates They are idiot's. I laught out loud constantly because they are so misinformed, massaginistic, and sometimes out and out lie. As mental stimulation they are definately not worth 2 seconds of time; but their talking points get repeated all the time. Did they call Clinton both a facsist and a socialist?

  • @daswann14

    > Did they call Clinton both a facsist and a socialist?

Definitely socialist, probably communist ... I remember Limbaugh saying how Clinton's whole aim was all about consolidating power to him & his cronies -- that gov't social programs were not at all about taking care of people, but just about gov't greed for massing power.

  • @daswann14

    > They are idiot's.

I just watched some of Beck on YouTube and OMG what an idiot. If there's any bright side to Beck, I would hope that he's helping to establish the link between "I'm racist" and "I'm a moron." It would be much worse if he was a warped-but-intelligent racist. (But given that Imus was fired from NBC for saying "nappy-headed hos," I can't believe Beck stays on the air.)

  • @ToddAllenGates I'm a big fan, your thoughts are definately worth adding.

  • @daswann14 hey, i want you to answer this question, if it intrigues you: do you feel like you understand the true nature of racism? power+prejudice= racism?

if you subscribe to this sociological concept, why are we (progressives, blacks, etc) criticizing him for going quietly about his business? when this administration is gone, we will see he has done plenty. as a black man, its best to do what you do quietly. or you're arrogant, "uppity", etc.

  • i have been helped by obama's policies, and as a student, i'm sure you have too. our government's structure is flawed, so, what could he really do? bold, loud, and brash would have gotten the job done? I heard on young turk his biggest flaw is not stating his case... well, maybe we have to do that for him, because him doing it himself is suicide.

  • What people need to remember before they push any ''First Response'', ''Knee Jerk'' prejudiced based remark is that the president is fundamentally a human being. Just like all of us. Same faults. Just in different levels. And sadly, they wont see that. They will see a objective to throw their rocks at. Like say, Skin color as childish as that seems. The real joke is that GROWN UPS are playing it

A couple of years ago if a Muslim, Jew or an Atheist were to be president, the same game would play.

  • The only new black members of Congress are Black Republicans. Remember the majority of what Obama can do has to be first supported by Congress so technically it's the Democrats that aren't "liberal enough". Your saying because isn't that liberal he is a conservative?

  • You have to put the "urban" comment in context. Steve King is from Iowa and was discussing black farmers and he said Barack Obama, from Chicago, introduced the new Pigford legislation. I think he was questioning Obama's knowledge of the situation. Personally, I think it was a weak point but I don't think there is too much brilliance in those speeches in Congress.

  • I'm inclined to agree with you about the thinly veiled racism on display. I tend to disagree with M0US3P0T4TO because it's been clear for ahile now that lots of folks are voting against their economic interest. Further, I too am one of those blacks that would love to see someone with a spine and conviction challenge Obama for the Dem nom. Obama made his history, now, since he doesn't know how to fight, he should step aside. And the sooner he declares he's not running again the better.

  • He is caving into the republican demands yet THEY DO NOT WANT A BLACK PRESIDENT. It is Clear!!! Obama is acting like a closet republican. All politicians are is kids insult eachother on the playground with a bigger vocabulary.

  • @TymesRhymes *Insulting

  • people try and cover some of their shit up when they go after him (eg the monkey doll denial) but fuck it: we all knew this shit was coming. he needs to govern better and tell everyone to go get fucked/ as i said before, he aint gonna win in 2012 so do your shit. as an aside, these fake conservative dicks would have torn any democratic president a new asshole.

  • Obama becoming president opened my eyes to how closeted most people have kept their racism. I personally wish we could all move past issuses of race and gender, but to me, it looks like they are still well and alive, maybe just hidden better.

  • Well George Bush is the most disliked in europe i would think but it seems that some americans seem to think that Obama is the worst president ever. I saw some redneck american on Tv saying "Obama is a Muslim and i dont care what anybody says" or words to that affect. If America elected a mixed race president i supose its not totally impossible to elect another non white president in the future. I know this is such a cliche but race dosent matter to me

  • @Antistar211 Agreed except mixed race means nothing to most people. He is black. He just has a very different story than most african-americans.

  • It's not a race issue. That's a red herring. There are no true race, gender, or religious issues. There are only money issues. And I don't care if it's a black, white, male, female or green with pink polka-dots hermaphrodite person - the vast majority of them are corrupt, greedy, and full of shit - and they are all circle jerking each other in the revolving door of high ranking military, judicial, and political fields.

  • what about hilary clinton being the first women president? i'm sure no one would care that she's the first woman because she's a corrupt bitch representing the democratic party. I think we should look past race and colour. As for barack obama, that change motto has completely been thrown out the window. Obama has been a major let down for the american people, 2012 we get to vote again for another loser representing this degenerate nation.

  • @halflifeproductionz I wish. Hilary is corrupt within reason (she still gives to much credence to the establishment), and she has a backbone. And if and when she wins I think it will open a new can of worms in terms of gender issues.

  • @daswann14 how about we don't worry too much about gender and race and stick with the issues. Obama clearly got the black vote in '08, we need to start voting based on policies that will help this fucked up economy created by king george the 4th.

  • Comment... even if you think it's a moot point or non-issue I'd be interesting in hearing that. Also specific instantiations would be appreciated as I can use them in my future videos.
