I just got my hair cut that same style and my friend sent me this video to watch! LOVE IT! You did a great job and were enjoyable to listen and watch.
hi! Your vid are really helpfull! I use the same haircut as you and I was thinking maybe you could show some hairdos you do for parties or more formal occations since we are in this hollyday season^^
Sorry for spelling mistakes and the poor engllish^^`but english is not my mother language^^`
I really loved this video especially the way you talk through it and explain what you're doing. I'm gonna try this method tomorrow morning☺-Thanks! Ellie
Omg!! I just cut my hair short and it looks exactly like yours. I wanted it longer but the stylist cut it way too short! I wasn't impressed with it. Wanted to ccry and I've been trying to find styles to make it atleast decent lookimg
Hi Silver this video was of really great help to me coz tom im gettin my hair done to an A line long bob.... I'm pretty excited
I have a semi Straight and Wavy hair texture :( I really do not know how well this style would suit me...but i would always want to know if there is any particular recommended Hair Shampoo that u would suggest ..if so please keep me posted Thanx Regards ...and Silver i appreciate ur work ...and all the best
Great Video! Dont listen to some people... your here to help people not to here them whine and talk bad about you. Hopefully it works for me but I like more volume! But I do need to try the frizz ease stuff cuz my hair is frizzy sometimes cuz the humidity. Beautiful hair and thanks for the video!
Hey Silver, can you please give me a picture of your hair in general [ like your face] than your back of your hair.. because I want to really get this haircut :) thanks!
im sorry i love your video but i believe your wrong about the texture thats right for the cut . I have very curly coarse thick hair but if i put any heat on it it doesnt curl . When i get my hair cut into this style its perfect for me . I wash it blow dry it and straighten out the curls all in a matter of 15 minutes and i can walk out the door and it looks just as good as yours . or if i dont even feel like straghtening out my hair i wash it throw some pomade or spray gel and its good.
I have a question someone please answer, when you get a bob, when should you go to the hairstylist to get it back to its size and shape so it wont grow out? thankyou
@okaymichellee To keep it looking its best, probably no longer than 8 weeks. Mine starts to grow out pretty quickly, but I wait awhile between cuts just due to cost/time.
@okaymichellee It's best to "trim" your hair every 6 weeks if you want to keep dead roots off and such, but actually, if you cut your hair this often, it'll grow out faster. :/ I usually wait too long to cut my hair, but the style lasts for a couple months looking pretty well :) I think the biggest problem would most likely be the way that the back of the bob looks depending on how it's cut because it grows differently when shaved :/ I never shave it though, I just get that cut to short length.
@okaymichellee I am a hairstylist and I recommend 5 weeks to maintain this and most hairstyles. Longer styles can go another week or two, but shorter styles need 5 weeks optimally. It does depend on the rate your hair grows also, mine grows slower than the average person. The average growth rate is 1/2 inch a month. hope this answers your question :)
you're really pretty, and this hair cut really suits you. i have a really similar hair cut to you.. and i'm looking for any advice on how to style it differently.. like curl it or plait it or whatever, any advice?
really enjoy the vid! never a dull moment; i honestly talk just as much as you do! i only wish i had the stick straight hair that you have instead of my waves and curls :) and gosh the bob looks gorgeous! this is the cut i actually want to try since i have started cutting my hair now. so sleek. thx!
Hi, I love your hair cut in this video. I'm getting mine done friday and this is exactly what i'm wanting. If there is anyway you could send me a picture of this hair cut I would appreciate it. Thank you ... briwheeler92@hotmail.com
i love doing hair....but could we speed things up? just so much talking lets get to the point... hairstyle....i stop watching at minute 2:30 just a waste of time ill never get back.... latinsongbird...
Thanks for the demo :) You'd mentioned that your hair is super straight or "poker" straight, and what helps to bring out the curl/wave in my hair is by using a diffiuser attachement on the hairdryer after applying styling foam (mousse) and scrunching the hair.
You're beautiful, and the haircut really is timeless :) I have wavy/curly hair so that it wouldn't really show its angle as opposed to someone with straighter hair.
@Jannsmith Aww thank you- I've seen this haircut on people with curly hair, and I think it's super cute, but it's definitely a different look, and can tend to get poofy looking.
I LOVE the vidal sassoon haircut! Who exactly did the cut and which vidal sasoon was it? I've been trying to get this haircut done properly and it hasn't turned out that way. Hopefully third's time a charm.
@lainocente814 This time it was at the NYC uptown location (right across from the Tiffany's on Fifth Ave). Yuka did the cut- she is amazing- such a perfectionist! I would highly recommend her. :)
1:42, 1:46, 1:50, & 1:53 are four of the most beautiful haircut pictures ever! You are beautiful my dear & I have also worn this style for many years (although I do like to go much shorter in summer & let it grow a bit in winter). Great video!
Because you don't part your hair directly down the middle, it might be worth considering having your haircut slightly asymmetrically (shorter on the side where the parting is in your case), as the parting in combination with the cut would bring out your face better than the cut that you get at Vidal Sassoon.
it's so stupid when you upload a tutorial with this many details such as your hair texture, what you do first, hair or makeup, shorter or longer hair or whatever haircut you've had before, i had to skip more than half of the video to see what i was actually interested in
I'am definatly going to get this haircut after watching this video. Thanks for posting this video. That's awesome that it only takes 10 minutes to style and looks fabulous.
I was thinking about buying that flat iron after seeing your video. Does the flat iron get dirty if u use it with mousse and other products in your hair? I hv fine hair too so I use volumising mousse once a week.
You are stunning! (btw) I love your hair and U R totally right about what a diff a GREAT stylist makes in the look of your haircut (and for the next 8-12 weeks)! I went to a senior stylist at Roy Teeluck Salon last time I was in NY and WOW! Only Marco 2 Union Square in Seattle and Kenworthy Salon in Beverley Hills, have ever compared!
Lol that's exactly how I blow dry my hair and I have a bob! Everyone else I know, who has a bob, is really precise about drying their hair, They use the roundbrush technique and separate.. This way is just so much easier for me and my hair always looks cute. But you are right, the haircut is what makes this so easy to style!
ihope you get my latest email.i have red hair aswell do you think i should do it still. my hair is really long so i was thinking mabe to the chin or just before the chin. are line bobs the same as graduated bobs.
@dancathproductions I have a found facial shape and I have a bob haircut. It makes my face not so round! It is easy to maintain too! I hope you like your new "do"!!!
@jessicakerry1 It helps that my hair is stick straight.....straight hair reflects more light. But watch my coconut oil video. Deep conditioning will help your hair look its best!
The intro is so funny! I know wat u mean by the hair cut itself does kind of the job! ive been the same as u...ive been getting the different bob hair cuts since 2007, which is when it started...then i cudnt do anythin different...even when i tried to grow it...its easy to style and i think its a gr8 sophisticated look! when i have it done...people go crazy for the cut..and like u i get it done in a professional saloon they r the ones who are able to get the cut as good as it's suppose to be!
@orangeyumpop If you can find someone who can do a really precise a-line bob, you don't have to go to a place like Vidal Sassoon. Their haircuts are expensive ($80-$120 depending on the location), but I have yet to find a place who can do it quite the same way they do!

slkbeauty 5 months ago
@slkbeauty When it's cut like this, every day.

You could cut your time in half by round brushing your hair while you blow dry ..it would also work to curl your ends
