No he isn't. He is a man who lost his temper and said things he probably regrets if he's as smart as he thinks he is. It is very narrow minded to direct insults to a whole country based on the results of playing a couple of shows.

Have you seen the price of these things lately? Only the pros can afford them anyway. I now build my own and there just as good at a fifth of the price, after all there just wood and metal parts and real basic electronics. It worked for Eddie VH. He did his best work with a homemade. The Chinese and Korean have proven over the last little while that good guitars don't have to be pricey. Try an Agile or a Reverend.

@konanian dude, korean and chinese guitars are not as good as US made ones, no matter how much you want them to be ... that's just dumb .

@konanian That is ridiculous. And I seriously doubt that your guitars are anywhere close to a Fender US or Gibson. Guitars are more than wood and metal. I've worked for a luthier for 20yrs and still don't have it all down. There are resonance issues with certain woods, intonation issues that must be accounted for by specific angles, then the "basic electronics" are not that at all...winding, wiring, components, and know how go into the good pick ups
