  • NOTHING THAT BEAUTIFUL in any honda dealership these days -- just plastic rubbish

  • One sexy bike as lovetrain put it. Wish I had some cool change laying around, I'd buy it.

  • She is giving me wood !!! Beautiful classic!!!

  • absolutely lovely

  • no starty?? :o(

  • start the fuckin thing!

  • By 1976 the bike was a generation behind the Suzuki and Yamaha offerings. Lots of them stayed competitive because of DG and FMF, though.

    Nice restoration.

  • I sing this song to my 480r in the shed.......

  • Beautiful!!!

  • fuck yea

  • That gives me WOOD.

  • Very nice job. My dad bought me a brand new '75 CR125 in the spring of '76 (it was a leftover) for $476 out the door. Prior to that I had a Combat Wombat, and this Honda was quite the step up. I would love to have it back again.

  • I remember I was 15 and their was a neighbor just sitting on this bike in his driveway an he had just bought it. I went up and looked it all over and asked all kinds of questions. It was 35 years ago and I was so jealous of that guy. It was HOnda Red and brand new. great video.

  • What happens what you case a jump with that pipe?

  • DG was Dave Garrett out of California and FMF- Flying Machine Factory was out of cali too. FMF meant a little something different to us racers, (excuse my language please), it stood for . "Fast Mother FUcker". Oh the days of our youth! RH DSD

  • 1976 price for this bike, brand new and out the door= $600.00

  • @DIOSpeedDemon At that time I was 15 and loved the honda's. The first CR I ever saw was silver tanked with dark green? That 76 has about 6 and half inches of travel all around, but it was awesome to go to the showroom and look at them, as a kid. DG and FMF were just starting to offer modified CR 125 as a package deal for the outrageous price of 1500$ , I believe!!!!. OUTRAGEOUS!. You would buy an aluminum finned head, Metzer knobbys, an aftermarket chain tensioner and was good to go. MEMORIES!!!

  • @DIOSpeedDemon the green and silver tank was on the previous model I belive, 74-75. Im not 100% sure bout that though

  • @macdaddy that sounds about right, thanks again for the memories

  • this was my 1st bike, it kicked my butt and i loved it. if i recall mine had a spark arrestor that was mounted to the rear fender. thanks for the memory

  • @hallburnout70 Unless your bike had some sort of aftermarket spark arrestor, that thing attached to your bike was just a silencer (muffler) and it was probably attached to the rear of the frame, just behind the seat. The stock pipe on these bikes was quite long and included a small, non-rebuildable (ineffective) silencer that sipped over the small end (or "stinger") of the expansion chamber. But a stock replacement is VERY hard to find. Most were beat to crap in short order. Just so you know...

  • Extremely BEAUTIFUL !

  • look how small the pegs are

  • This thing would be on display in my living room. I'd leave the riding to a modern bike.

  • I raced cross in those years, my yam monoshock walked all over elsinores :).

  • dam that look like a 09 lol

  • looks brand new

  • Thats what you call "cherry"

  • Great looking Motorcycle

The Powerband on this motrcycle was very small but theses motorcycle could fly

  • great job sir, my dad use to race elsinores with bob hurricane hannah, and ricky hampshire!

  • now thats a pretty little thing

  • now thats what i call a restored bike:D

  • so do you race it or just stare at it? Seems a shame just to get a chubby looking at it and never ride the damn thing. I saw a bike like this in someone's bedroom....ride the biotch!!!!

  • @oliverkloesof I would put the thing in my bedroom, living room, computer room, the rec-room, the workout room, the bar room, the theater room, on the loft, the deck, hanging from the ceiling in the rave room with lasers bouncing off it. But darn it, don't have a bike like that.

  • @JoeD60 Kind of weird dude. appreciating a work of art is fine but this isn't a freakin painting. I own a Mugen 125 and I slay the biotch as best as my feeble ass can. That's why I paid the money to own one. just don't see the point of just ogling at it. If you owned one maybe and hopefully you'd understand even it was just a joy ride. Prolly Scott would agree

  • @oliverkloesof Sorry to so freaked you out. Why not just give it to me and forget about it.

  • hit a jump

  • great bike. that was my first real bike bought it used in 1977 snapped the connecting rod and gauged the cylinder while running 2nd in a race. couldnt afford to fix it so i sold it for parts

  • that bike is soo nice.. does it get ridden much or more of a show/exhibit bike??

  • Nice one, I have one of those babes in venezuela 1977, kick all the liquid cooled in the early 80s, Suzukis and yamahas with this model, the bad thing was, when got hot the others will pass you.

It tuk 4 laps before that happen m but before that no one in the front of me....

  • is the throttle cable supposed to be that long?

  • @iPOPSHUVIT yes, the more dramatic curve coming off the throttle will keep the cable from bending and kinking.

  • @iPOPSHUVIT yeah so u can run that bitch wide open!

  • ya

  • @iPOPSHUVIT They have a problem with the front number plate, if you route the cable straight under the plate it makes the throttle stick sometimes and on a bike like this that will kill you.

  • Man, that's a prime example. Looks in really great nick for it's age. I had one of these as my first mx bike and I reckon I'm half deaf from riding it...they were LOUD!

  • that bike is as old as me i wish i looked that good for my age fucking bike@lol

  • Love that bike!

  • ive got a cg125 and im raising the ride hight so its kinda like yours the frame is identicle to a xr75 just bigger

  • This was my first real motorcycle i bought it used in 1977 for $400. This bike is in perfect factory condition i can remember the decals on the tank. I started racing in 1978 and snapped the connecting rod in half and then the snapped rod dug into the cylinder wall so deep i couldnt afford to repair it, so i sold it for parts. You did a great job on this bike, it brings back alot of memories

  • My friend, that is one of the best restos I've seen & is a real credit to you!! To see such a cool & great model brought back to showroom cond is a real treat, thankyou.

  • Badass !

  • sweet i got a rm 80 1976

  • that thing is sick i love old stuff

  • sweet...........

  • that thing will run forever

  • esta preciosa cuidala tienes un tesoro

    te felicito

  • beutiful bike man congratulations

  • beautiful, brings back memories of my elsinore which was almost identical

  • The bike of my dreams when I was 16. All I ever thought about was owning one. I never got one. I still think they are beautiful bikes

  • Had one just like it,,,,wish I still did.

  • i saw one of those on the Dukes of Hazzard TV show they use 1976 Elsinores a lot in a bunch of episodes its pretty cool i watched it and they sound great.

  • lol, i have that exact bike, its adorable!! :P

  • SEXY AS HELL, LOL!!!

  • Perfect mix of music and Elsinore eye candy. I can smell the Klotz! Thanks for the great flashback.

  • I tasted Klotz back in 1976. It didn't taste as good as it smelled.

  • in is imaculant condition 5* all the way

  • nice:)

  • nice bike...i love elsinores. they all have that distinctive sound...i got an '83 cr480 and i love it :)

  • If it's the piston, fill the cylinder with some penetrating oil and let it soak in. Repeat. Then just tap the barrell with a soft mallet until it breaks loose, then pull the barrel off. Don't worry about it, it has to be rebored and honed anyway. If it's the bottom end (the crank, trans or the rod), toss it in the trash and get another unstuck one on Ebay, it's cheaper. Believe me.

  • I need to know: What is the easiest way to un-stick a piston? I just bought some project bikes, and two of the engines are locked up. Please reply!!!

  • yeah...lube it up real good and see if you can knock it loose...my friends lt230 siezed up and he took the cylinder off and out it back on and i fired right up. the piston was just in there at a funky angle. chances are though if its a project bike its been sitting a while and rust is why its stuck. if thats the case then do just what kirkmach32 said

  • Yup, We got three tc100s for $125. I already got one of them running, and I ride it all the time now. We almost have the second one running, and the other one is just going to be a parts bike. I like working on things like that. They are really fun because they're two stroke, and pop wheelies great!

  • Too cool! 5 stars!

  • WOW! STUNNING!! Its beauty makes me weep. So envious. Thanks for sharing.

  • great bike! i had one for 5 years. check out my vids to see it, i owned it from 1995 to 2000
