i ordered a dimmable 12 watt par 38 bulb from them, but after reading all the stuff online. now im stuck with this order sadly.. can't cancel. Later, I ordered a bulb by aquamedic. My aquarium and its contents are too valuable to buy junk. LED Wholesalers should be taken off ebay. I see they have a 99.5 rating, which is why I got suckered..

I have one of these that I bought from LED Wholesalers. Just so that nobody wastes their money I should say that these don't put out any usable light for a reef tank. I have a LUX meter and a PAR meter and got lower readings from this LED fixture then with just a standard T-12 fluorescent bulb. They are OK for fish only I guess.

@biowerks check out the inda-gro website click 'compares' on the home page & they go into interesting stuff on LED. like the US military does not allow LED lamps for indoor or outdoor lighting because they burn out early and the lumen output is too low. and to get the claimed lux readings the LED uses a narrow optic that blinds pilots on approach. they post the doc

for plant you have to measure PPF and YPF not lux. see inda-gro 'plant lighting' this will tell you PAR and micromoles
