  • i dont think a person should feel obligated to touch there car with a cloth covering there hand i mean unless you have grease on your hands ive dont that a lot b4. my only point is if your going to drive your classic as your normal car you should feel like you can treat it like a normal car. absolutely beautiful car

  • Eyyy. I like seeing Mopars up here in Canada. Ontario too!

  • Ooooooh, barracuda

  • sexiest torque monster ever produced

  • Beautiful car... 30 years in the garage biz and they never cease to make me smile...

  • Best looking mopar muscle car.

  • meeeean color, whats it called?

  • @lobzdik - It's called Flash Red - supposedly the original Viper color - there's no clear coat, just 2000 grit and many hours on the buff wheel - I've owned her for 11 years and the car has never seen water.

  • nice man!!! perfect Cuda

  • And new Challengers are cool for what reason?

Oh, people can't afford old muscle cars and no one under 50 knows how to turn wrenches. Most people in this modern age don't know how to drive a stick and shifting gears in this car would freak most people out.

  • @alwaysopen You may want to reconsider your "wrench turning" cutoff age. See my video response above. I did it ALL myself. That means engine, 4 speed trans, clutch, rear end, plumbing, interior, electrical, body, paint, AND Top. Did it when I was 36... 4 years ago. Total cost, 7000 dollars. The car sat in a field from 1969 top down. There was some serious restoration going on. Don't sell the next gen short. There are "kids" who know more than both of us combined.:)

  • im 14 but i really love classic muscle cars thir engine their looks even the interior is awesome

  • I'm the fat guy in the video - yeah, it's my Cuda - I've had it for 10 years. Thanx for the comments!

  • @BigBillDaCanuck just wondering.....how many big mouth chevy guys have u had to stomp the piss out of??...lol

  • @78jtw There's been a few! Last one was a young guy in a Pro-Street Camaro - met at the gas station - took him in all four gears - think I might have pissed him off a little - LOL

  • sweet ride!!!

  • You do a burnout the proper way.. All these other people who powerbrake to do a burn out doesn't impress me in any way. I have stated to others that have to powerbrake to do a burnout that anyone with a YUGO can do a powerbrake burnout. BTW very nice car.

  • damn....

  • 4 People are bitchass ricers hahaha

  • 4 people didn't wait until 0:57

  • So, what does it take to get a 1968 to 1973 Superbee, Charter R/T, Roadrunner SS, Barracuda, Venture, and the like in good condition with a 440 or 426 Hemi or equivalent in 2011 America? Where to find theses beasts? Is a fortune required? Can I go to a second-hand car dealer or must I look out for auctions? Pls shed some light.

  • @submariner123: Unfortunately, it takes money - lots of it - to buy one of these supercars, or the luck to find one in someone's barn somewhere. I lived through that time (I was very young in 1970) and wish I'd gone into debt to buy these cars back when they were easy to find and cheap, worth as much as they are now.

  • very nice

  • you are truly so lucky for this. this is legit my favrorite car, one i will probably never have. so enjoy it for me! haha.

  • love it such a great design which makes it timeless! many thanks for sharing

  • DAMN

  • My dream car

  • very nice car, i would rather have a hemi but the 440 is a good engine

  • PAY ATTENTION CHEVY BOYS THATS HOW ITS FUCKING DONE!!!

  • FROM HELL!!!

  • Forged pistons... bigger turbo, crank, rods... This thing is built for driftin from the ground up.

  • @Subaru255 it dosn't have a turbo idiot

it 's a real car that will hand your ass to you without a turbo or super.

  • @TheWolfpire You're an idiot.. I was quoting a movie dipshit. Yes i know a 440 is a strong motor. Along with all other wedge head style motors manufactured.

  • @Subaru255 learn how to quote without looking like a random idiot talking about random things.

if you can do that then you can call others idiots

  • @TheWolfpire Well im calling you an idiot. So why dont you fuck off and go bother someone else and see if they care what you think. Im guessing probably not. Bye

  • beautiful car..nice engine..sounds like a monster

  • absolutely beautiful

  • He breaks loose the tires with the greatest of ease...

  • OMG ! on croirait un mec qui crie !

  • Awesome Cuda. Sounds very tough. One bad Mopar.

  • Sweet v code cuda...Check out my real v code cuda 4speed shaker hood car i attached the video here...its the orange one racing the challenger..

  • best car ever made

  • Awesome car man. not so good burnout tho.

    the sound beats everything.

    How many horsepowers?

  • MOPAR OR NO CAR!!

  • Man, that thing sounds amazing!

  • I almost bought one in 1979 with 65000 miles for 600 bucks. It was a 318 with a column shift and bench seat. I was saving real hard (because that is how it used to be done then) but I lost my job at Pizza Inn and took the money and bought a bass guitar and a Peavey TNT amp instead.

A year later I was into Mustangs and bought a 1967 Mustang GTA convertible for 1200 bucks. Those were good days to buy cars if you knew then what you know now. Sold the GTA in 1984 for 5400

  • Awesome car. Pussy slab(s). Why lay a 20-footer, or even a 60-footer, when you can lay a 300-foot slab?!? Check out "Melt 'Em (Full Version)" for a real slab -- 272 feet, not 27 feet!!!

  • You're so lucky.... My dad hates cars =/

    Beautiful Cuda

  • I had a red 70 'cuda with a 383, 4 speed , Dana 60 with 4:56"s back in the 1980's I can't beleave how much I miss that f@&king car.

You're is really pretty, keep it dont ever sell it

Take from someone who made the mistake,

    You'll miss it!!!

    Thanks for the video !!!!!

  • Sexy as hell.

  • sick car

  • That's fucking ausom , I love the Mopars, somday I'll have a nice 70 GTX in my driveway

  • Dream car right there.

  • This is automatic or manual gearbox?

  • @Pieluniu manual i am pretty sure. notice the revs before take off

  • @carfreak59750

Could be a stall converter? :O

  • your dads lucky

  • nice car...

  • Lovely shape. The car.

  • ive always loved that hood on the cudas

  • This is the kind of stuff that makes Quentin Tarantino smile ear to ear. Sweet car

  • turn the idle speed up dad!!!

    what a machine!!

  • my dad just bought a 440 charger

  • Sweet ride bro...absolutely cool... No comparison the new muscle cars... You pull into a carshow with that Cuda and another guy pulls next to ya in a 2011 vette... Later vette step a side...cuda coming to town

  • your exhaust manifolds are wrong.. with the 6 pack it would have hi-po exhaust manifolds

  • the 440 was a a good enjine but the alt, bolt bolt was too long and always broke off having to tap it out.has a 70 red blk top blk interior

  • That was the most sickest awesomest muscle burnout i ever seen :) How many feet was it??

  • oh I'm a girl who doesn't know much about cars, but this one is a real killer! I had a few Barracuda driving pass me at a car show and the sound of the engine was breathtaking.

Seemed like those 'cuda were about to tear off the asphalt only by speeding up. If a guy comes to me driving one, I might just tell my reason to F*** off and give up everything for a drive XD

  • Just curious....what sort of exhaust system is that 'cuda running. Sounds like FlowMasters, but I can't be sure. Whatever it is, it sounds great!

  • @3rdpersonplural Correct. Flowmasters with ceramic coated headers.

  • i just got a boner

  • i got a 509 purple cam sounds identical to your do u have manual brakes?

  • One of the Best Classic Muscle cars out their... A very nice car... Don't mind the haters, they just hate because they dont have one... I'll say it again "A very nice car"

  • what was the name of th option with the flush bumpers? elasto-somethin?

  • @stupidrelaoded Elastometric

  • @prestan thanx

  • @prestan elastomeric lol

  • @prestan No, you need to drop the 't'. It's Elastomeric.

  • @prestan No, you need to drop the 't'. It's Elastomeric. I inherited the one sitting in the garage of my guesthouse, and sad to say, I've NEVER driven it. Too much engine and too many stupid drivers out there.

  • that damn thing is poppin...ur dads a good man

  • Gotta love the American muscle. To all car dudes this is our history. Bad American muscle. That 70 cuda is a killer.

  • Screw this. I don't care how much time I'll waste collecting money. 1 year or 100 I don't care, I will buy myself a 1970 hemi orange 440+6 Cuda with a stick. Then I'm gonna make me an Interstate '76 replica.

  • the "BEST MUSCLE CAR MADE"....

  • my dream car :) going to save up for after college!

  • I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't own this car. myself included.

i feel even worse for the people who stop at the lights next to this beast.

and i feel even more worse for the dumbass ricers who think they actually have the slightest chance of winning when the lights hit green.

  • @Mattco92 ha ha yes!!

  • Beautiful car... You don't see modern cars even take off that fast XD

  • MOVE

    OVER

    POWER

    APPROACHING

    RAPIDLY

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeet:):):):):):):):):)

  • ... car sounds nice. You do NEED to get rid of that god-awful rad cap and spray the oil filler cap semi gloss black and spray the front of the rad support flat black. Nice car.

  • only able to understand about every fifth word outta the fat guy's mouth..

But it's cool.. that engine says it all

  • music to my ears

  • did Daisy Duke have a cuda like that?

  • daisy duke had a satellite. In some episodes it was a '72 model and in other episodes it was a '73 model

  • nice cuda mopar is the best

  • This car looks and sounds sensational! Love, love, love the Mopar rims, and yes I am age 51. I remember these cars on the street brand new.

  • hate those rims too, if u bought it new back then, i bet u would upgrade, so why not do it now..

  • i like them they look like the chevy ralley wheels

  • i just think they look cheap, like all OEM muscle car rims...but i know the old guys 40+ love em, to each their own

  • Except those cost just as much as new rims......

  • right u are about that, but i like 19's or 20's in the back, and 18 or 19's in the front, and the back tires have to be huge..they look mean when the back end is sitting higher...u have to agree with that

  • The only upgrades was a chrome dish on the rallye rims. Not that much of an upgrade, and the 440's and hemi's generally came stock with that upgrade

  • What a car. Keep the faith alive man.

  • sounds fantastic!

  • gad...I hated those rims...but the car is sweet

  • @trunk516

Those are not rims, they are mopar rally wheels. They look awesome on this cuda, and every other mopar.

  • @mopar6pack Ummm..I'm aware they are rally wheels...which equals RIMS...I just never cared for the Mopars rims..but as I said..still a very nice car..

  • muscle cars are meant to be driving not in a museum!

  • Truly

  • nice cuda

  • holy shit he is actually driving it!!! and doin burnouts!!! that car should be in a climate controled garage behind sum billionairs mansion. lol thanks for using it for what its meant to be used for! and keep that 440 and dont follow trends with the hemi.i heard from a old timer that owned a 440 road runner in the early 70s that the 440 cars could beat the hemi cars. oh and your dad rules! enjoy having a cool dad! me and my dad do burnouts together but its in a hoped up mustang 5.0. lol

  • 5959512,

When these cars were new they were very expensive..a hemicuda was Imperial price range..A Road Runner/Superbee was about the price of a new base model Mustang GT in today's dollars..Cuda's Challenger's Chargers were expensive, like a new Challenger SRT-8 in todays dollars when they were new..

  • 2995 would get a base super bee or roadrunner 4400 would get a hemi cuda convertable. have had super bees, cudas, challengers, chargers, roadrunners ... working on my 73 cuda now, I was in the army in 71 and had my super be then, got hooked.

  • This sounds like America!

  • It sucks that muscle cars used to be about horsepower for the common man and now only rich people can afford them. For the amount of money they want for these i'd rather have a porsche/mercedes. same story with harelys unless you get an old junker

  • Some muscle cars are pretty affordable in my opinion. The new Camero isn't that expensive for the bang it gives you; same goes for the Mustang. The classics, well yeah, they are vintage: they will come out pretty expensive.

  • @5959512 there is a beat up 71 cuda for sale by me, it runs but looks like shit lol

  • @5959512

    dude your completely right.

  • @5959512 exactly and then you work on it over the years and oneday you will have an oldie you knoqw what I mean My name is JD Im 18 years old and I own a 67 Cuda no hemi in it... Yet :) but anyway just get a junky and youl see what I mean haha

  • @5959512 thats not exactly true dude you can get a pretty nice muscle car with a nice engine for under 30 grand easily. thats how i got my 1970 cuda 383. it now has around 460. with a few upgrades and a new carborator

  • @5959512 thats not exactly true dude you can get a pretty nice muscle car with a nice engine for under 30 grand easily. thats how i got my 1970 cuda 383. it now has around 460. with a few upgrades and a new carborator

  • @5959512 a lot of the cars that older people have were their first cars that they just parked for years on end. Despite the expensive exotics being way faster than the older muscle cars. The feeling you get from driving a classic is irreplaceable, despite only getting to drive them on beautiful weekends.

(i know this comment may stir up a lot of commotion with that an exotic is faster comment, but it is true, straight line acceleration is only good on the drag strip.... and Kansas.)

  • @5959512 If you don't mind doing a little work yourself, you can usually find a decent fixer-upper muscle car for well under $5K. Half the fun is in the work you put into em anyway.

  • @5959512 You would rather have a Porsche than this? thats just silly talk. Barracuda's cost lots cuz you dont see that many nice ones anymore. There are plenty of other Muscle cars that cost alot less.

  • @TheBeer274 Your right about the part owning a Porsche than a Cuda? The Diff is a Lot,Real 440 Six pack restored now a days cost over 100k.the way i look at it is you buy a Cuda your not loosing money you buy a Porsche Be Prepared the price to go down every year just like any new car.One is Investment and the other is Temporary Toy..if its a Hemy 426 Restored?250000K and UP

  • @5959512 reminds me, 15 years ago my uncle bought a mint 383 4spd lime green cuda

    for 13k.

  • @5959512 man you sure are true! Im just in high school and my dad drove one of these as a kid. and now all I can drive is some crappy pedo van etc.

  • Funny things is look online old school mopars are some of the most valuable collector cars! Mopar or no car.I personally have a 2002 ram slt reg cab had engine pulled set of cams retimed set of flat top pistons and tranny kit .for a 4.7 liter it smokes the rear end.

  • Yeah he definitely has a performance cam on it

  • Such an awesome car

  • That makes my root heister :P Has that thing been cammed..It sure sounds like it's loping more then a stock 440

  • if That Cuda is Auto Ill Wip His Asss

  • Hey pal U wanna go with me with my 78 400 4 speed W72?

  • i will...

  • nice, exactly what the car is made to do =]

  • awesome

  • thats my car right there bcuz my name is William KUDA

  • NICE car how about you post another video with some real smoke.....

  • cool it's like watching nash bridges

  • woot ontario plate!

  • Sooo wish we had more of these in the UK! Shame stupidly high fuel prices making even importing one across a problem, would never be able to run it :( and stupid to have a car like this and not use it

  • Brb changing pants.

  • dads got one, 6 pack shaker car! orange with white interior! sounds the exact same!!!!!!!! LOVE THAT SOUND

  • Cuda's from '70 and beyond were KILLER. Some of the meanest looking and most powerful cars of the time.

  • WOW LOVE IT!!

  • If that was a reply to my comment sure i like m & m cookies:)

  • Beautiful luv cudas

  • Truly a work of art. I will own one someday, if I have to build it from the ground up. (426 Shaker or 440 6-pack) Incredible.

  • 426 HEMI. shaker is the hood. and they put them on a ton of muscle cars

  • america fuck yeah

  • Comment removed

  • Keep in mind this vechicle is a retirement policy :) And he didn't even have his foot on the brake, this is just pure acceleration!

  • Comment removed

  • I gotta say I do agree with you, my dad's old 68 newport custom would just sit in place when you floored it, no brakes, just the tires spinning for about 5-7 seconds, and if he dropped it into first on the highway it'd lay rubber down till he let up. Me though, I'd rather have the cuda. this is my dream car.

  • this is sex on wheels dude!!!! WOW!

  • Wow, my exact car...very nice. But 4:11 Dana??? Hm.

  • my cousin got a cuda :D beautiful machine <3

  • Behold the power. Now take that thing out and race some of those punks in their 305 1990 Camaros.

  • LOL! Hey, at least they're driving American!

  • i had one and it was very hard to break loose on acceleration. They had wishbone suspension and would squat down when you punched the gas. The front was torsion bars that were adjustable and the steering column was made to collapse on impact. The car was ahead of its time and i am sorry financial shit made me sell it

  • this is my dream car

  • MEAN FUKIN MACHINE!!!!!

  • I JUST POPPED A BONER

  • WOW....

  • if someone gave me a million dollars thatd be the first car i buy

  • u said it

  • me to!

  • hey man that cuda is awesome man wish i had one

  • Wow love it sounds just like my 440! same camshaft! 5/5

  • i'm from the U.K, and i think American muscle cars are the best! =)
