Haha, Deep Purple in 1993...was a joke compared to this. Blackmore didn't put any effort into his playing anymore. Only good thing was a few good songs including this one, and of course that Gillan, which is the soul, songwriter, frontman and classic voice of the band, had returned.

@SilverTounge85 I disagree with your comments regarding Ritchie not puting any effort in... While he doesnt seem particularly cheery on Come Hell or Highwater, you can see all the way through the recording that his facial expression is showing feeling for what he's playing as well as his manurisms... I think Ritchie sounded great on that recording. And Steve is a great replacement too btw. Completely different style to Ritchie, but Deep Purple has always evolved, and Steve has made it his own...

Wow, what can I say.

I have mixed feelings about this, actually. Much as I love Steve this is so far from his style... he can definitely do a better solo. On the other hand it's so great to see this back, I can only hope they add Anya to the set :)

I just saw these guys, I was FLOORED when they played this song as part of the encore! Never would have expected these guys to bring out such an obscure song from a pretty much forgotten album. Sounded killer...I always thought this was a great tune.
