  • Thanks Mike!

  • Hey thanks for telling me about this video! I'm practicing every day after I get home from school! Oh I'm 17 and I've been playing for a year and you are helping me get better!

  • @wedontknowone1 cool! wish i started playing that young! good luck and have fun!

  • Looks more like a flattop??

  • @RascalKyng Nope, just a rare old round-hole archtop.

  • This will be the next thing I learn. Although mostly I use my ears it is beneficial to see where your left hand is in this video. Very groovy. A round sound hole archtop with a trapeze tail piece: must be old. What is it?

  • @JRobson1955 Cool. Hope you get somethin' good out of it. The guitar is a 1937ish Supertone that used to belong to Alvin Youngblood Hart! I'm not sure how I got this lucky!

  • Thanks for the help. What tuning F#?

  • @sfmbrm Yup. Just a half step low of open G (for my voice). Glad you found it helpful.

  • Thank you for taking the time... Nice job... Wonderfull sound of guitar. Cheers !

  • Hey Mike, I really appreciate your taking the time to do this. I'll be working on it. I love the driving picking style on your songs and this will help me get a handle on it. Looks like the right approach for me, breaks it down where I can pick it up much easier than from your performance pieces. Feel free to do some more of these lessons! Thanks, -Joe-

  • Big help Mike.....thanks for takin the time !

  • Same man. Sweet!!!

  • nice pickin brother! thanks for the vid!
