i like Ur dancing its really nice and i do a little bit of poi myself :P well...actually me and my whole family spin fire poi xD u did good and im surprised that u did that well in a fur suit :3 my poi strings are made of metal changes though :P so i cant do it with a fur suit (there metal because we switch from l.e.d s to fire poi often
@PlayfullFoxKit Thanks, I have chains too, but like you said they are not all that happy with fur. I've actually switched over to using a stiffer cord when in suit be cause it feels more like chain. The poi I have in this video have a ton of stretch to them and feel kinda sluggish when spinning.
@over18irish poi are the light up things that I'm twirling. Google search homeofpoi for more information. The things on my ear are fake animal migration study tags that I was given at a convention that I attended.
It limits my vision a lot, which means I can't see the poi for most of their rotation, and the paws make it a bit hard to feel the cord. For the most part though once you learn a pattern it isn't that hard to do in costume. The biggest issue is just relearning what you know wider so you don't hit the ears and tail of the suit.
haha awesome dude, much props for combining my two favroite things even though it seems like it would relly hinder it, if you end up making toutorils ill check it out because i hate being a hafassed glowstringer. awesome dude much PLUR&FUR love
It isn't that hard to develop a good hold of the basics, and it is a very inexpensive hobby to pursue. I would checkout some of the tutorials on homeofpoi(dot)com or the videos on playpoi(dot)com to get started.
Well he could always come to my house and get naked, I for one would have no problem with that. From what I have been told hes really cute under that suit. lol
Oh Nightclaw, I loved your Poi at FCN ^_^ And I love this song (had it on my favs for quite some time now). You are quite talented. Wish we had gotten to know each other better, hehe
To date I have never hit anyone at a dance, but I know other spinners who have. It is just one of those things I suppose. I tend to use shorter poi when I am spinning in crowded areas.
They are a cloth sock that holds an LED juggling ball. Homeofpoi(dot)com makes them. In terms of how they feel when you mess up, they are about the same as a glowstick
Thank you, it does, in fact warm up here every now and then. There just is no rhyme or reason to when it does. As the saying goes if you don't like the weather in Michigan, stick around and it just might suit you. *laughs*
Pretty sick moves.

Thank you, if I had had more time to put a routine together before the show I would have spun to a different song, to be more original, but oh well.

I look forward to seeing more.
