no wonder did you leave away the "petite" in the title. a "[...] messe solonelle" seems to be nothing funny ...

my subjective opinion: opening to be swift, middle part to be extended.

oh and i'd try to imitate the harmonium with any other bass instrument, in order to back up the staccato piano (this instrument pair is just another humorous setting). the many contradictions forms the music's soul.

yeah, the tempo really was a disaster, but I realized it too late, unfortunately. I'd do it a bit differently now, but what's done is done!))

what a disastrous tempo, but what a nice choir! But why not add the bit of humour that Rossini demands in his music? This is way too serious!
