How to set APC40 to DUMB mode (for Traktor Pro)

@timhification thanks for the post! ive not done this and am really struggling with midi mapping my apc, ive got it set up soo well on all other aspects apart from LED's. do you have to open and quit ableton everytime or will it put it in that mode permanently? if so, since i'm using a crack how would i put it back to normal incase it fucks my whole midi map?

@MusicByFlashBang Every time the pc is shutdown and/or the APC is off, this is resetted. So if you want to use Traktor, you always first have to open Ableton shortly and then close it...

You'll get used to this, believe me ;)

wow, does that mean you can change the led rings out of traktor too?

@ElectrolightMusic yeah you can change LED rings on Traktor the way you want; 1) single led - normal style 2) single led - panning style 3) multiple leds - from none till full

@ElectrolightMusic Jes I am!!! actually I only just bought the apc a month ago, but I'm already very happy, started mapping it in traktor too now...
