But yeah the song Lover I Don't have to Love has a line that goes, "I wanna boy who's so drunk he doesn't talk " and people think he's gay because of that. I mean, when I listen to Bright Eyes stuff, yeah some songs might seem kinda depressing, but I feel like there's always something about it that is hopeful. And obviously the people who call him emo or his music emo don't hear that. So, whatever.

When I listen to Bright Eyes I don't find those sogns depressing at all. I find them more happy, because his voice makes them that way, even if they are about something bad. But that's true though, he could be singing about his friends, etc. Not his own life.

Yeah, I know. It would've felt amazing to be part of all that, and be around for all of Bright Eyes, like you would've felt like an actual part of it. I wish I could go see Bright Eyes! But I don't think they'll do many gigs in the UK, I know MOF did some, but they weren't close to me. There was in London, and they played Bright Eyes songs, and everything. And it lasted three hours!! It looked amazing.

But you are lucky though, going to see MOF! It would be amazing. I'd never want to leave.

I'm saying that Conor Oberst's music changed me...completely. Before, I listened to such generic music with lamo lyrics. And perfect voices.

But Conor's music makes me like bands (and Bob Dylan) not only because the tune's cool or the lyrics were decent. Haha, now i'm more mature with the kinda music I like. I like songs more for the lyrics and the meaning.

Yeah, I do like Conor Oberst more than Bob Dylan. I'm more familiar with Conor's work though so that's probably why.
