If you have 3 red lights just let it cool down for about a month. I had the same problem but all I did was let it cool down and then it should work again
its not dead i had the same fing but leave it 4 awile or send to microscoft for free and get reeplacement p.s its called the ring of fire the red rings
3 rings = dead (GPU/CPU failure), 2 rings = overheated, 1 ring = even more dead (complete system failure), 4 rings = AV cable not plugged in properly or broken AV cable
That is the ring of DOOM for every Xbox 360 gamer!!

send it in to microsoft or if your warranty is up buy an x clamp kit VERY USEFUL long term solution fix for rrod.
