  • Hmm. Not bad. Jump higher UP, tuck and stall, and, wait, you got the arms almost perfect. The most under-taught thing about flips is the arm motion. You gotta think your grabbing something and pushing yourself under it. You got that down. But you don't tuck. Notice how you miss the bed completely. Observe a bit more, analyze, you will have it in no time.

  • Here is a message for anyone that views my videos. I am not a pro. I'm just starting out and for a beginner, i am doing pretty damn good.

    What i need is encouraging comments not negative ones. Thanks to some of you for the tips and pointers. My next video compilation will definitely show better improvements. Keep watching.

  • Remember the three D's. Desire, Devotion and Descipline. That's what I live by. I've only been doing this for 3 months. I got the backflip down within my 25th try. It took one of my friend about a week to get it down. Another one of my friend got it down after a month. So yeah. Everyone has their own pace of learning. So don't be discourage if you can't get it right away.

  • I don't take any special class for these sort of things. I just use tutorials on the internet and learn it from there lolz. The tutorial website I use and maybe the most helpful one would be this one: trickstutorials-dot-com

    I twisted my neck the other day trying out some parkour moves. The doc. says I need to chill for like 3 months. I told him hell no, this is my crank (like the movie Crank). You just can't stop the adrenalin when it start pumping. I must as well be dead then. So I should be back training soon.

  • Yeah, I know how you feel. I twisted my ankle and I was handicap for one whole month, but during that time I still tired to do backflips on one leg lolz. The addiction is truly addicting once you start tricking. But kkormi1... Sometimes the doctor is right...

  • Like what Silentscreams says, jump up, swing your arms up and then tuck and rotate. Its calla BACKTUCK for a reason. And since you were trying to do a backtuck off something, you need jump diagonally upwards. Making you going back and upwards. One last tip, get something more stable to practice on. That thing you standing seems very unstable.

Be sure to jump upward, swing your arms upward, at the top of your jump, tuck, rotate, open out, land.

  • They are called TUCK BACKS or BACK TUCKS. Not freakin' back flips. You need to jump up, swing your arms up, and then tuck and rotate.
