I think they should've made Rena's face move less and use expression more, like in the original sound novel. The effect isn't as good here because you expect her expression to change and there is a musical cue.

Imagine how awesome the tension is when you play this game for the first time (of course you should know Japanese well enough) and coming to this scene with your headphones on and face close to screen (yeah I know not many people play PS2 games with headphones on and face close to screen but anyway).

Even though I don't know Japanese very well (only basics) the voice acting and the images were enough to bring the thrills to my socks. Amazing! Awesome series :)
