I think you may be a troll, but I'm still compelled to respond. Musharraf was re-elected as President in elections in Oct 07. Just when the supreme court was about to challenge the election, Musharraf suspended the constitution and declared martial law. The Prime Minister, Muhammad Mian Soomro, was elected by the National Assembly on November 16, 2007.

I do make mistakes from time to time, but I'm very careful with my facts.

Musharaf was re-elected by the senate as President, the people have no direct say in that.

What the people do have is the ability to elect a Prime Minister, which they shall be doing on the 18th.

If you just look at Musharafs policies in Pakistan, you would have to admit, hes been better then another other leader in that countries history.

-Economic stablity

Of course, hes made a few mistakes along the way.

But you to be very naive to call him a brutal dicatator, or something close to that.

What Bhutto and Nawas, the democratically elected Prime Ministers did NOT do, Mush has done.

Bhutto didnt push for women rights, as much as Mush has done.

Hes given media freedom, which has allowed 30 odd TV stations to open.

I can also say, that the ousted Justice of Pakistan, was a corrupt theif.

There has been evidence leaked that backs that claim.

That is the only reason why Musharaf wanted him gone.

And if memory serves you correctly, Mush and Justice, were 'friends' before this incident.

Therefore you have to question, was the Justice going to rule against him for legit. reasons or for personal revenge
