Black folks rail against stereotypes. Meanwhile the Neelys spend a 1/2 hour shuckin' and givin'. I just watched an episode in which she said "I'z grillin 'yall". She may as well have been in black face. Hey, people should talk however they want but then don't slam others for pointing out the obvious. And if a white couple came on the tv and started talking like that they would be vilified as racist. Now we're at a place where only certain people can speak a certain way? That's racism in my book.

@gravincas my thoughts exactly...my mother if from Macon, GA and she didn't even begin to know how to tell me ( show me yes, tell me so i could write it down, no) to make the foods i grew up on, but thanks to the Neelys, I have been able to cook those recipes and they taste just like mom and grandma make

I think this episode is going to air this wk-end if I'm not mistaken. You can pull up the schedule on the food network website. I watch the show all the time as well. I love them!!!
